It felt like Ritsu's story was a little lacking. His problem didn't seem as serious as the other Souma children. |

| While I felt for Ritsu (and Torhu's speech certainly helped), it seems to me that he could use a good slap in the face from that drill segerant in the Geico commercial! Things look really serious for the next episode...I hope nothing happens to any of the characters, I've grown to really like them. |

| Ritsu is a pretty annoying character. It's getting easier and easier to see through the formula for this type of episode; Tohru meets new guy, new guy transforms, new guy explains personal hardship for several minutes, Tohru delivers perfect speech that makes new guy reevaluate himself for the better, roll credits. It's frustrating, because I love this show at its best, but it feels like a quarter of these episodes could have been cut without losing much of anything. |

| the last two sohmas introduction episode felt really fast for me, ritsu could have 2 episodes so his story would be little more interesting, at the end they really rushed his "sad background"... but i guess that they wanted to finish the anime already, so... |
