Mitama and Megumi are on the move. Still a very creepy little girl. Mitama was being referred to as "he" by Katsumata and Yukie, but since it's probably a member of that alien race, who knows if it actually matters.

Taisuke turned himself over, but of course getting Aoi back won't be that easy. So, it looks like they also need Megumi to awaken the "heart" as well. Everyone really is being drawn together here. Nice job blowing up the helicopter. And of course no one is listening to Taisuke's warning about Mitama and Hirose. They still want the heart for their own purposes, but they have no idea what that could cause. At the end....i'm sure Taisuke didn't actually get shot. At least not anywhere vital. Does build suspense for the next chapter though.

And suddenly......Nami shows up? That was surprising.

So, it sounds like McPherson is starting to figure out the "heart" is MUCH more than just a rock. He was supposed to get it for the government, but i'm starting to think he might end up on different side when this is all over.
Taisuke wants to get the heart to stop Mitama from getting it and to kill Hirose, if he can't be saved.
Mitama needs the heart to stop his/her body from falling apart. Possibly to possess Hirose, I would guess. And then......??? Who knows what he plans for Earth are. And Megumi fits into this somehow, but that hasn't been said yet.
^That's how I understand it all, anyway. Correct me if i'm wrong and missed something.

Taisuke can easily save Aoi if he use his power. He's really an idiot and lacked of resolve.
