I hope his influence doesn't reach Kyo too, since Kyo is supposedly not one of the Zodiac. :| Though even after learning Hiro's back story, I still think he doesn't need to be so mean to Tohru... I don't think he has anything to worry about with Tohru being his "rival" for Kisa... XD |

| I would problably have killed hiro if he was my lil brother... so annoying but as a character is okay since he is really CUTEE! yay a couple among the juunishi! but really... hiro should be the tiger and kisa the sheep no? |

| I totally agree on both! hiro and Kisa really should switch.. it's kind of funny though. I would've tied Hiro to a rope and demand him to tell me what's his dang problem. But.. you gotta admit, he is sooo adorable !! :) |

| So yeah.. I'm guessing they have left something out of the anime that has to deal with Akito. It just seems like he has some serious issues, especially when it comes to the young Sohma males. So far we've gotten flashbacks of him locking Yuki up in some room and beating him for not obeying him. He went into some psycho jealous fit when Hatori announced he was getting married and almost blinded him. Then there's this episode with the brother(Hiro) saying he likes his sister(Kisa) which I'm guessing made Akito jealous enough to basically slap her so hard she hits the wall when he passes by them walking together in the hallway. |
| I wanted to pop Hiro one for such a nasty attitude, then when I learned his story I felt badly for him. No wonder he behaves the way he does, liking his sister and then being so tramuatized that he could not help her, and then seeing someone else take his place. I'm glad that in spite of his obvious jealousy Tohru is understanding enough to be tolerant of him (loved that part when she gave him a hug as a form of punishment-what little boy could put up with that!). Although her thinking feels a bit simplistic at times, in this instance it worked out well. (Interesting character reference here-a tame tigercub and a lamb with attitude! And such a cute little lamb, too!) What is the hell is wrong with Akito? As if this curse wasn't enough for the family to deal with ( it could be that in later episodes he has something directly to do with it, maybe. Or that he was raised in an authoritarian background where he was abused himself)! This anime is both funny and yet heartbreaking to watch. I'm looking forward to the next episode, judging from the preview it's a nice distraction from the main storyline and I could use a breather. |

| Okay so well yeah the ep was cute and all but I still think Hiro is so rude and well yeah we already saw the back story and all and well the end was also nice but if he keeps being that rude in that way he will end up being annoying. |
| sheesh what is with akito, what is the story behind this guy and how did he end up the way he is now? i guess he had to have done something pretty bad to get like this, im actually very curious about him too, hope theres something in this series to expand on his actions. i wouldnt be surprised if he was the root cause of this entire curse. but ya as for everything else, im glad that hiro is getting to work things out with kisa now, theyr both pretty cute together ^^ and rofl at the end XD |
| There are some significant differences in the manga which actually help to explain what twisted Akito. They don't apply in anime. Because the anime finished well before the manga, it probably is good to follow-up watching this with reading the manga to get the true end. |

| Omg Hiro had my blood boiling the entire episode, what a rude little spoiled brat! I understand why he's jealous of Tohru but he was so rude to her and it made me so mad the entire episode -_- Oh well, at least he slightly softened up by the end of the episode... |

| Hiro is lovely <3 this episode touched my heart so deep, i think usually we don't understand why a person is like him is but maybe they have had a bad experience or trauma |

| Kinda refreshing to see a character not so convinced by Tohru's charms. I mean, do you really want to see everyone extolling our protagonist's virtues by the end of their first appearance? I think this was a needed change of pace. I liked this. Kisa is too adorable for words. Also, for the record, someone needs to give Akito a square kick to his balls. |
| Hiro sucks. Not because he's rude or anything like that, but because the other characters let him get away with it. I want so bad to see someone smack him across the room but no one ever does. Frustrating! |

| In most shows I would hate character like Hiro for being such a spoiled brat and be frustrated that he gets away with it. But, really, it's hard to be mad at the first person in the entire series who isn't immediately enchanted by our idiot Mary Pollyanna Sue and points out exactly how hopeless, spineless doormat she is. |

| Okay, I don't dislike Hiro, I just got pretty irritated with him is all... I think he has a rather sympathetic backstory to help me to better understand him and actually try to like him more. I just got a little upset at the beginning when he was picking on Torou for no reason at all... but overall he is okay, I dont LOVE him but I think he is compelling enough to get behind. Akito is just plain unlikable and that is rare for me to flat out dislike Villains. He is just an abusive asshole. Hope he gets what he deserves. He deserves a good beating. |
