Magic is a type of energy that is found in every human. However those who want to utilize that magic into strong techniques journey to become a Mage. Mage's use magic to perform various techniques depending on what type of magic they were taught. The stronger the attack, the more magic it consumes. In the world of Fiore, they're are all types of magic in different forms. A few of them are as followed:
Table of Contents: Lost Magic:
Magic that has long been forgotten and is very rare. It is used by some of the most powerful wizards in the world. Apparently, knowing a lost magic brings one closer to the "source of magic".
Known Lost Magic:
•Dragon Slayer:
A specialised form of magic which can only be learned from the dragons themselves. Dragon Slayer allows the user, to a certain degree, transform their body into that of a Dragon. As a result of this, those with Dragon Slayer abilities are able to change their body to their own element, in both offensive and defensive styles. They can also consume external sources of their natural element to replenish themselves, although it has been demonstrated that certain foreign substances will substantially increase their power, ie. When one consumes Aetherion, it greatly increases both the strength of his body, and his magic. Dragon Slayers also have an incredible sense of smell. There are "Old-style" Dragon slayers who learn from dragons and "New-Generation" Dragon Slayers who implant Lacrima crystals into themselves. Elements of Dragon Slayer are: (you can create you own dragon slayer if the other dragon slayers are field up already)
•Arc Of Time: User controls time but only for nonliving things
•Explosion Magic: Users causing things to explode around them.
•Tree Magic: User can bend trees and their roots to do his willing.
Holder Types:
Magic that requires a wizard to use an external source to produce the magic. Apparently, this is the most common/easiest form of magic to learn.
Known Holder Magic
•Celestial Spirits:
Celestial Spirits are magical beings from their own separate universe, the Celestial Spirit plane. Mages, called Celestial Spirit Mages, are able to summon spirits by opening their gates through the use of keys. These keys are separated into two classes: the more common silver keys and the rarer gold keys. All Celestial Spirits are named after a different constellation.
Contract and Rules:
When Celestial Spirits Mages receive a key and open the gate for the first time they have to set up a contract with the respective spirit which consists of asking the spirit the days in which they can be summoned.[1] This rather simple contract forms a bond between the Spirit and summoner that is taken extremely seriously. However, under exceptional circumstances, such as during the heat of battle, a contract can be asked to be completed later. Contracts can be broken if the mage is arrested or if the mage dies.
The spirits must abide by certain rules, enforced but not set by the Celestial Spirit King. So far the only known rule is that a spirit may not under any circumstances, whether directly or indirectly, kill a human.
Abilities:
All spirits have a different ability that makes them completely unique (Aquarius can control water, Lyra can sing and Crux knows a lot about about other spirits). Most silver keys are not known for their combat abilities, however a few can fight. So far every seen gold key, on the other hand, can fight in some shape or form with some more combat potent than others for example Lucy states when summoning Aquarius that she is the most powerful spirit she has in the Oración Seis arc, but she can only be used in areas with water. The length a Celestial Spirit can be summoned depends on the amount of magic the user possesses and whether the key is golden or silver.
Celestial World:
All Celestial Spirits spend their time in the Celestial Spirit world when not called through by their summoners. Being in the world seems to have some sort of rejuvenating effect on the spirits, restoring their health after being in the human world which, over long periods of time, can potentially kill the spirit. The reverse is also possible: humans are unable to breathe in their world so after a period of time, albeit a much shorter one, they would die. Such an occurrence (a human entering the Celestial world) is a serious breach of contract.
Spirit mages have the potential to obtain extremely rare Gold Keys, which open the gates of the "Ecliptic Zodiac". While there are large number of silver keys, there are only 12 gold keys, 9 of which have been discovered. Each gold key has the Zodiac symbol of the one it is used to summon on it.
NOTE:You can only pick one of this for starteds and there is only 10 gold keys. So no one can have the same gold keys.
Aquarius: Summons the Water Bearer, Aquarius.
Aries: Summons the Ram, Aries.
Cancer: Summons the Crab, Cancer.
Capricorn: Summons the Goat, Capricorn.
Gemini: Summons the Twins, Gemi & Mini.
Leo: Summons the Lion, Leo.
Libra: Summons the Heavenly Scales, Libra.
Pisces: Summons the Paired Fish, Pisces.
Sagittarius: Summons the Archer, Sagittarius.
Scorpio: Summons the Scorpion, Scorpio.
Taurus: Summons the Golden Bull, Taurus.
Virgo: Summons the Maiden, Virgo.
Silver Keys:
NOTE:You can pick 3 Silver Keys that you make but they can't have elements ok.
Crux: Summons the Southern Cross, Crux.
Horologium: Summons the Clock, Horologium.
Lyra: Summons the Lyre, Lyra.
Nikora: Summons the Canis Minor, Nikora.
Caelum: Summons the Chisel, Caelum.
Pyxis: Summons the Compass, Pyxis.
•Card Magic: All-purpose magic that can be used in many different ways, but it is based on playing or tarot cards.
•Doll Play Magic: User can control any object or living things, except humans.
•Edolas Items: Due to being unable to expel magic Edolas wizards need an item to release magic.
•Requip: The user uses magic to equip weapons to them, Erza Scarlet has upgraded the magic to include summoning her special armor.
•Ring Magic: User uses various magic rings to perform defferent tasks (for example charm person or perform telekinetic strikes)
•Plant Magic: User uses rapid-grow plants.
•Solid Script: User uses pens to letters and turns them to materials.
•Yami no Ecriture: User uses sword which can write "rules" to which targets must follow. Or he can inflict different changes in his targets or himself.
Caster Type:
Magic that the user expels from their bodies without the need of an item. A more advanced form of magic.
Known Caster Types:
•Ice-Make:
Ice-Makers uses the ability to form special attacks out of ice, which are either 'static', stationary, or 'dynamic', moving. Using two hands creates more stable creations. It usually begins with the command "Ice Make!" which then allows the user to create a variety of weapons out of ice to be used as attack or defense.
Static ice making creates unmoving, but effective objects such as bows, arrows, lances etc etc, and is a more stable version of Ice Alchemy. Dynamic ice making creates more life-like objects and animals such as eagles, dragons and such, but is not as stable as Static.
•Wood-Make: A form of maker magic where the user creates wood.
•Air Magic: User commands air.
•Wind Magic: A form of air magic. User commands wind, usually a very deadly magic used by assassins.
•Fire Magic: User commands fire, most common element seen
•Purple Flare: User manipulates special "Purple Fire", that cannot be put out by wind or water.
•Water Magic: User commands water.
•Earth Magic: User commands earth.
•Lightning Magic: User commands lightning.
•Smoke Magic: User commands smoke.
•Light Magic: User commands light.
•Shadow Magic: User commands shadows.
•Sand Magic: User manipulates sand.
•Snow Magic: User manipulates snow.
•Darkness Magic: User commands darkness, the nature of these element causes few people to wish to learn it. Usually used by Dark Wizards.
•Transformation Magic: The user turns themselves into something. First level is the body, Second is clothing, and third and final magic is size, weight, etc. The user then can use the abilities of that form(ex. Bird=flight)
•Flattening Magic: User can turn his body flat.
•Take Over: A very advanced type of transformation magic where the body drastically changes into a monster of Anthropomorphic animal.
•Titan: The users body parts or whole body turns gigantic.
•Sleep Magic: User can can put another person to sleep
•Picto Magic: User can draw something, and then materialize this drawing.
•Crash: Magic that smashes to pieces everything that user touches.
•Disassembly Magic: Magic seperates anything.
•Animal possession: User can confine animal spirits within himself and use it in fight
•Human possession: User can seal wandering soul into inanimate objects
•Dancer: User can increase power of his allies and decrease power of his enemies by dancing.
•Telepathy: User can read minds of others.
•Fairy Magic: User can manipulate "Fairy Dust" to make it explode, or shoot like needles and perhaps use for other needs.
•High Speed: User can speed himself up.
•Archive: User can create computer-like interface out of nowhere and use it for storaging and transfering information.
Mage Type:( The type of Mage you are,Caster Type,Holder Types,Lost Magic.) NOTE:Sorry but Lost Magic is not for everyone to pick. Only Admin or a really active member can pick it.
