Deia was the wife of Alcides. That was a surprise. Briareos rescuing Deunan was awesome! Still it was just an OK episode.

It wasn't for me. I had suspected her for something I can't put to words since episode 2 but last episode added more weight to that suspicion when Alcides's wife looks like her even from afar. It's been twenty years but she still looks young so I assumed she was Alcides's daughter as another possibility. Karl was young looking when he was with Alcides but looks old when he was training Deunan, maybe she had the benefits of future medicine or stem cell therapy perhaps? LOL Come to think of it, what happened to their child? She didn't mention anything about it, another loose thread to be tied next? Sorry, been speculating again. XD

The sky battle above Olympus was pure awesomeness but it was horrifying to see ES.W.A.T. units getting swatted like flies (oh gods, that even rhymed! X_X).

Good grief, suspicious female character turns out to be the bad guy. I never saw that coming. SOme of the clichés in this episode, geez, the leap of faith, the bullet stopped by a family heirloom in the pocket... they just went on and on.

(But how did Briareos stop Deunan's heart/ break the signal when the bullet didn't penetrate? Surely the shock of impact wouldn't have been enough?)

Well, Deunan was wearing some *really* think plot armor there.

I thought as much when Deia wasn't a character in the manga, yet useful enough in previous episodes to relay important bits of information to the audience. Too many movie cliches for viewers. I'm still watching it for the main characters, but that's about it.
