| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- ... This series seems to be more intent on focusing on the fact the girl is in to BL and whatnot then actually telling a story, tbh since ch.2 their has been 0 romantic development and not much but some jokes on dating a fujoshi ... tbh I would say this series has 0 substance, which can be fine in many slice of life series, however not only is their 0 substance in this series but because the guy just takes everything like a whipped dog and forgets about it 2 seconds later this series also has absolutely no emotion which would then point towards this being perhaps a comedy however ... It isn't set up trying to be a comedy, the jokes are only meh if this is meant to be solely a comedy and while the whole "dating a fujoshi" is semi-original, it doesn't warrant the amount of detail put in to this key fact ... If you have read a series like Hiyokoi imagine if the series only focused on the girl being short, walking through her day of constantly being unable to reach things, can't walk at the same pace, etc. for 30 chapters ... That would be so extremely boring ... and this series is no different... Now it isn't in my nature to drop a series, however unless this doesn't turn around quickly I will say that this is a series that had potential however the author was unsure as to what plot meant and thus the story became nothing more than a string of pictures and words with no meaning, purpose or emotion in them. |
