Rather than his usual uniform, he had just the army pants on, a tang top, and a holstered pistol, indicating that he was off-duty at the moment. "Now, I'm not a complete asshole, so I'm usually willing to talk. Course if you two want me to put a bullet in both your heads instead, that's fine by me. Don't say anything cause if the generals find out that I didn't shootin'em they'll have my ass." Ray said walking back to where he originally was. "Any beer left?" "Nope, but one of the guys managed to jack some wine from the general's quarters." Chris said following him as he blew out a puff of smoke from his cigarette. "Assholes. We have to get our asses shot but they just gotta sit on their asses and drink wine." Ray complained. |

| "Nope. Deathwatch have been quiet lately. Maybe fighting amongst themselves and too busy to focus on anyone else. You know about the huge pole they have up their ass about everything." Ray told him, pulling down the cloth that covered the bottom half of his face. He looked at the civilians that he was watching. "Why you watchin' the civilians? There a cute girl there or somethin'?" He teased him. Chris just blew out a puff of smoke from his cigarette silently. |

| Vincent sat at his desk in front of a computer and sifted through several notes he'd been keeping thumb-tacked to the bulletin cork board hung on the wall in front of him. Thanks too his position in the legion his office, which doubled as his living quarters, was rather large and was almost eerily similar to his old pre-plague apartment. The notes pinned to his bulletin board mainly consisted of memoirs and notes on his soldiers. He hit several key's on his computer, checking the status of patrols currently out now then exhaled a puff of cigarette smoke and muttered to himself under his breath, "Ray and Chris still aren't back yet". The thought that something may have happened to the two crossed his mind and, try as he might to dismiss it, it kept eating away at the back of his mind like a bot fly. Eventually his overprotective nature got the best of him and decided to go look for them. He slung his rifle over his shoulder and pocketed his pistol. He wore very little in terms of protection save for a light Kevlar vest hidden under his jacket and a pair of gauntlets. The gauntlets protected his hands and forearms and let him grapple with the undead without fear of being bitten and fight on even grounds with melee weapons like knives and swords. Suited up and ready to go he exited his office/bedroom. |
| Having returned to base Vincent was now in the center of the conflagration that was once a part of the civilian district of the Legion's base and barking orders to soldiers as he aided in the rescue efforts while lifting debris, nearly giving himself compression fractures on several occasions. "Get the hoses and put those damn fires out!" he ordered several aimless and panicked soldiers while he pulled several unconscious civilians out from under some rubble , "and for gods sake where are those medics!". |
| Ray was carrying an unconscious teenage girl on his back from a building alight with flames. She had red hair like he did and looked somewhat like him. Obviously being his sister. "Those fucking medics here yet?" He asked obviously pissed off as he set her down, sitting against a building not on fire. Chris was with other soldiers rescuing the civilians and helping them get out of the fires. Several NEOH troopers also arrived soon after, strangely starting to help the other soldiers. Katsu was one of them. |

| "Shit..." Vincent cursed as he ran over to Ray and his younger sister. "Over here! Hurry up dammit!" he yelled to a medic that just arrived on the scene. "She'll be alright," Vincent said to Ray in a reassuring, fatherly tone. Even though he had knowledge of first aid he honestly wasn't able to tell how bad off she was. He glanced looked over to see several NEOH troops on the scene assisting the rescue efforts. "NEOH soliders? What are they doing here...?" he asked, though the question was directed at no one in particular. |
| Ray didn't really say anything and walked away as an older woman with the red hair they both, his mother, had ran over with a worried and panicked look. He started walking towards the exit of the base. "I'm gonna' shove my foot so far up his ass he won't walk again." He said in another pissed tone as he loaded his sniper again. Chris continued to help the civilians, not noticing Ray storming off as he usually would when pissed off. |

| Amidst the confusion, Diva was running around doing her best to help the injured and to maintain order. She had part of her arm bandaged, which indicated that she was somewhat hurt herself, but that didn't prevent her the slightest from preforming her duty. |

| "Hold up," Vincent said placing his hand on Ray's shoulder to stop him "I know how you feel son but now is NOT the time for this". Dammit where's Chris when you need him Vincent thought to himself unsure if he could control Ray. He looked around and noticed a pink haired gir assisting in the rescue efforts. The situation was much more in control now, partly due to the NEOH corporations assistance, with most of the fires put out so he gestured for her to come over. |
| Noticing Vincent's gesture, which she almost didn't notice due the fact that her mind was occupied, she immediately ran over to him and stood firmly infront of him. The reason she reacted to and opeyed his gesture without hestation and came over was because she recognized Vincent as one of her higher-ups. |

| "The fuck off me!" Ray shouted at him, slapping his hand away. "I'm gonna' shove my foot up his ass, so stay the hell out of my way." He warned not stopping bumping into a NEOH soldier wearing heavy armor. "Wah! Damn that expression is scary..." Katsu said to himself. "Wait, Ray...? Good, you weren't caught in the blast." He said sighing. "It's me, Katsu." "Not now kid." Ray said to Katsu as he kept walking. "Oh no... Someone pissed him off..." Katsu said to himself. |

| "Oi, RAY! ... Dammit!" Vincent sighed and turned to the solider he called over. "At ease soldier," Vincent said with a kind smile. Now that he had a good look at her face he recognized her as Diva Kitou. He used to know her father. He was surprised that he didn't immediately recognize her, not many people have such loudly coloured hair. Realizing he'd been staring he cleared his throat and spoke in a casual tone, "Have you seen Chris Alexander? Blond hair, sunglasses, chain smoker," he asked, giving a general explanation about his appearance. |
| Recognizing his explanation, Diva answered him "Sergeant Chris? Yes, I believe I last saw him a while ago helping out the civilians." She slightly eyed the ground as she tried recalling further information about Chris's whereabouts, then looked up him again. "Do you wish to talk to him, sir?" |

| Vincent sighed as he watched Ray walk off realizing that trying to stop him at this point was pointless. "Yeah... would you mind leading me to him?" he asked after turning his attention back to Diva. |
| "Sure, but would you mind giving me at less a brief explanation of what happened first?" She said, breifly glancing at her semi-ruined surroundings. "Do you have any idea of who did this and why? No one informed me about anything at all yet." |

| "I wish I knew," Vincent said in a slightly defeated tone, "Even I don't know the whole story" he explained. He lit another cigarette and blew out a puff of smoke before continuing, "So far as I can tell our security has been compromised. Some brick shit house managed to sneak in here and plant some bombs,; he calls himself 'Nemesis'." Vincent summarizes. |
| "I see..." She looked at the ground with disappointment, then suddenly raised her head up again upon remembering something as her mind finally realized the presence of the NEOH soldiers in area. "Now that remaineds me sir, I remember them having a similar problem in hand in the time being, the NEOH corporation I mean." Diva said. "Could it be the same culprit?" She suggeted the possible relation between the two bombing accidents. |

| "That certainly would explain quite a bit about why their here," Vincent said, putting his hand on his chin in thought. "This may even be a good chance to improve out relationship with them; the enemy of my enemy is my friend after all," he adds as turns to the NEOH troops. They all wore similar uniforms with masks that covered their faces which Vincent always found unsettling despite having worn uniforms not unlike them on several occasions. "Guess we should go greet our guests," he says putting out his cigarette in a small container he carries around with him. |
