I was looking at this anime and it looks really interesting, but truthfully I have no idea what I am going to be watching. I want to know if it is worth watching it and if I will like it by your opinion.

P.S. I am pretty much open to any genre except for sad animes(I don't consider drama completely sad if you are wondering what I mean) and also I don't usually watch animes with out romance so you know I like romance of any type(romance like school days is something I hate, just for you to know)

Romance in this is only subplot but it's good. The interaction between character and sometimes the mistery that pull me in.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

It's worth watching, I didn't think i'd like it that much, so I went in expecting nothing. The beginning arcs we're great, but the middle arcs weren't that good for me... But, the last arc was very enjoyable. All in all its a good anime.

Yes this is a very unique and thrilling anime, It can be a little predictable but it can also leave you on the edge of your seat just waiting to see what happens next. The characters are likable and there are some unique ones in there. Give it a go, it has it's moments ;]

It's actually pretty good, at first I was put of at how easy the mysteries where to solve, but they become more of a challenge, and more interesting as time goes on.

Well to answer your "will it pull me in the beginning," in my opinion, no.

I just finished the second episode and I'm already really put off by the main characters. Besides the fact that everyone is reacting like morons, over a blatantly obvious murder ploy. There's all the obnoxious melodrama, akin to Sword Art Online *cringe*, between the male and female lead. Victorique is an okay character; I mean as okay as a serious goth-loli detective can be. Kujo on the other hand is an incredibly dull, uninteresting, stereotypical Shonen lead. A I'll-protect-you-because-you-are-a-frail-girl type of character.

So far this is like a water down version of Umineko. Except with a loli, less violence, no red/blue rule, nor magic. I'm not going to drop it just yet, but it certainly hasn't "grabbed me." I'll watch a couple of more episodes if it gets better I'll edit this post.

My opinion and comment might be unnecessary at this point, but I'll still leave a comment, for my love for the series.

I suddenly remembered and was humming the ED for Gosick, so I came here to get the "nostalgic" feels, remember when I first watch this, it was great, and I felt so good. All in all a very good series. P.S. there ain't any good series in the recent years imo, sadly. Old series > new series.

It is a very good anime that goes far beyond a detective anime. By the end of the series you almost feel as the detective part was a side story taht covers the first half. It becomes an interesting battle of opposing sides that really drags you in. The mysteries are a tade easy i must say but again that isn't what makes the anime enthralling. It is hard to explain but worth the watch

it will definitely pull you in right at the beginning because even the first mystery is really good.

The beginning of the anime is the best part of the show, so, yes, the beginning will draw you in. The anime is still good nearer to the end of the anime, but it’s not as good as the first part. I don’t really see why people dislike this anime. Honestly, it’s quite similar to “Toradora”... and that seems to have a lot of hype and love... but Gosick is wayyyy better than Toradora. Toradora was quite plain, but I’m not trying to review Toradora. Gosick is a very rare anime to find. You won’t find another one as good as this anime. I would give it a shot. Also, I think Victorique is a way better tsundere than most tsunderes out there. She’s just a lot better and less plain and DEFINITELY NOT stupid, as a lot of tsunderes seem. Her character design is beautiful. Kujo, on the other hand, may seem like a plain, shonen protagonist, but he’s a lot better. He isn’t overpowered, nor as hopeless as a fly. As the anime goes on, he’s been through some really tough times. He’s been through racism, being an immigrant, and in the 1920s no less. He’s experienced f*cking murders for God’s sake. He’s a strong person mentally, which is pretty rare, since a lot of Shōnen protagonists are not. By the way, this is a Shoten, not a shonen so he’s not supposed to be like a shonen protagonist.

If the first arc is the best part of the show, then I should probably consider dropping this show.

idk fam, everyone acts like a brainlet to me, it's utterly unenjoyable. Meanwhile Victorique is the only sane people who would even think like a normal people would. Furthermore, the male MC is straight up utterly annoying to me. Not even victorique would even keep me watching this shitshow.

Not gonna complain about Victorique though, she's decent enough, but sadly put in the wrong story.
