Hidan no Aria is still doing fine. Will there be a new season of it?
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?
I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?
I wonder how long people would put up with this.
As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.
The second season of Haganai hasn't even begun airing yet but the sales are already being pushed. I'm glad to see that outcome. Looking at the rest... Assassination Classroom #2's sales are as expected (I wonder when I'll find the time to actually read it).

HxH ending the year with a bang. Outselling Naruto's latest volume.
Resume the manga already Togashi. The anime is already on Greed Island .
AssClass vol2 also going with a bang. 200k on the 2nd volume? It will most definitely surpass its 1st volume sales. Pretty awesome and I'm enjoying the manga.
Catching up to Shingeki no Kyojin and it's darn awesome. Can't wait for the anime.
SAO vol11 selling well, nice. It will probably stay for 2 more weeks before falling off.
Date a Live sales are fine I guess. Waiting for the anime as well.
And I'm asking again, what is the Haganai volume all about? Is it a new season of sorts like Index NT?
2 HxH volumes - hopefully these mean Togashi will return soon. They're selling really well too. And it seems the new HxH volume outsold the new Naruto volume in their first week.
2 Ansatsu Kyoushitsu volumes - 200k for a first week is really amazing, around a 60k-80k increase from the first volume's first week.

It is officially a "spinoff" though many fans prefer to call it vol 8.5 (which the author also agreed) because of the extent the stories involved the main characters and how much it revealed about them and their past. Basically it consists of 13 short stories, all narrated by someone other than Kodoka (i.e. Yozora, Rika, Pegasus, Stella etc).

It's one of MF Bunko J's best selling series besides Haganai and Zero no Tsukaima and the anime had decent BD/DVD sales IIRC so it's kinda weird that there's currently no known plans of making a second season.
It did sell okay IIRC(can't find the sales numbers) but there was this before so chances are there won't be one. Plus, JC Staff has Railgun 2 planned later.
EDIT:

Supposedly there's going to be an announcement at the end of the movie (which will premier this weekend in Japan), and hopefully it's the return of the manga.

Look at how much it's selling, it sold 2,7 Million copies already. HxH volume 31 sold less that 1 Million, and that's just too high compared to most other manga. Check the title of the thread and you'll see why it's ranked that low. "Japan's Weekly Manga Rankings", so basically those rankings are just for the week between Dec 24-30.

I don't really get why people hates Hunter x Hunter just because of the hiatus. It's a great series and the breaks the autor takes won't change that fact
Togashi probably just sitting watching money rack in......maybe the success will inspire him to continue HxH
from what I heard there's plenty of material for a long list of episodes

Well just to be fair, Togashi was working on the movie this time, which will premier tomorrow.
It also seems tomorrow there'll be some HxH related news, so hopefully it's the manga's return.

Well that's true but lets not forget the movie is based off of old material he planned to use for Yorknew city ark but along the way he changed so it was an already made concept story (which from reading the synopsis sounds awesome )
BUT
I will give him credit where it is due glad that there is news though coming out.....it's going to be epic
To LOVE-Ru Darkness! \m/
Woohoo! It was at 250k last week and now it adds 75k more, 325k already! Anyone knows how many volumes with OVA were released in total? It was almost 75k last week so I guess 80-90k as whole?
Ansatsu is scary with its sales, anime in 2014 should be obvious, maybe even Fall 2013.
Yay for WataMote, anime announcement power!
I'm very happy for Chihayafuru, I hope second anime helps sales too.
