Detective Conan OVA - When to watch them?

So I am trying really hard to catch up with the Detective Conan Anime, and so far i'm on episode 210 and have seen 4 movies. Whew...

I've discovered that there are several OVAs and Magic file cases. Should i watch those in order or it doesn't matter?

For example i know that OVA 1 came out in 2000 and the episodes im on are a little bit later that year, so will there be any spoilers if i decide to watch 1 or most of the specials that came out within that range?

Doesn't matter, but i'd suggest to watch atleast to the Black Impact until you watch movie The Raven Chaser since it has new characters and gathers bunch of the cops there

You should probably be able to tell from the synopsis, it will usually mention where it takes place kind of. Other than that you can look at when it aired compared to the episodes aired. Wikipedia has the full list of episodes, see when the OVA aired, and then check when in the episodes it aired. Then I think it should be safe to watch.
