| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Haha. Ako made Shizuno wear her uniform. There were a lot of nice visual effects here. This chapter will be epic to animate. For example, Awai's outer space backdrop fits her name quite well. Himeko also made mahjong tiles fall like meteors. |

The only drawbacks are that her ability isn't flexible enough and that it's pretty much dependant on Shirouzu If she wouldn't be doomed to lose every single round that Shirouzu lose then she could pretty much be on par with Awai but to me it look like some useless struggle. My guess on Shizuno's ability: The power to never give up, the power not to be bound by any superior force. She start by being unlucky, get hit, fall behind until she hit the bottom of the bucket and then her luck become proportionally as strong as she was unlucky before. If she wasn't unlucky, her power won't amount much to anything but if she get destroyed by someone like Awai her power will become even stronger than Awai if only for a moment. No matter how much desesperate the situation is, she'll be able to turn the table as long as she doesn't give up. The baiman, the kazoe-yakuman, Awai's and Himeko's big hands... Shizuno will probably take them all and fall down to fourth place with a ridiculous score but then we'll see for the first time in the whole manga why Shizuno is the captain and how she'll sit at the monster captain table of the final. She'll destroy everyone on the table and claim second place under Awai's ridiculous score while actually scaring Awai a bit. That would be epic. |

| Wow. I was wondering how Awai could live up to the reputation that's been built up for her. But that is just overwhelming. This is one epic clash. I can't wait to see how things turn out. Ryuuka is going to do something before the end as well. scores after east second round, first dealer repeat: shiraitodai 110100 achiga 107200 senriyama 95100 shindouji 87600 We don't see who Awai wins off in the second dealer repeat, so we don't know the full current scores. | It's hard to cheer just one team when they are all amazing. I was rooting for Shiraitodai-Senriyama, but Shindouji is pretty cool too. Mairu-Himeko combo is pretty amazing, they were at the bottom and now they are really close to the others, and with a baiman and a kazoe yakuman at the door. Awai was amazing too, but seriously what did they do to Teru's points... were so many and now ;-; was all Tamaki's and Matano's fault. Shizu looks better with the uniform but still I don't really care that much about Achiga when all their opponents are more interesting, in my opinion. Oh yeah and Toki is fine♥! |

It was also funny how Arata's play style got recognised as Akado's play style so late in the game and this episode also confirmed that Kokaji was the one who played in the semifinals ten years ago, well that was pretty clear from the first time i saw the match tho. The match that just started is also a interesting one i am really looking forward to Awai's play style and the thing that Shizuno has up her sleeve. |
