7 volumes in the top 50 of Magi this week, the sales are kinda stable, slowly decreasing, but still impressive. The new volume's first week isn't bad too.
On the other side is Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, it's really selling well for a first volme.
got taiyou no ie vol 7 as well! Im behind on obereru knife good to see its doing well, I'll pick it up later maybe :P Crap didnt even know it had 14 volumes so far..
So is mahou shoujo any good? Been hearing some good things, may pick up the volume later. Any feedback appreciated :O
Quite a low amount of sales in the LN side. Volume 6-8 of SAO didn't rank because of that.
The first 5 volumes have been there since what, July? Still good.
And I believe this is the MAL entry for Intellivilledge no Zashikiwarashi. Have to start reading that soon.
Well SAO progressive just messed up my prediction system, which had it around the 4-5k sales mark for this week.
But then there's definitely something wrong with this graph:
Were people just going elsewhere for a while instead? Or was amazon's rank for this series messed up?
Whatever the reason, I don't think I should be including this in my data (r squared dropped from .94 to .65 just from this one thing).
A series expecting 8.2k sales should be sticking around the 90-150 rank range. If you draw a roughly straight line between 13th and 22nd it would predict about 7.5k sales for 12-18 November - still an underestimate but within the range of error I've seen before.
There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do.
AssClass is is still on the charts! :D
Magi is selling well. I hope it stays this way.
Taiyou no Ie, why such low sales? :/
Kirara no Hoshi, why such low sales? Geez, this manga deserves more! Can't believe people prefer Hana-kun to Koi Suru Watashi to this manga. =.=

Saw lots of copies of the SAO LN and Progressive being thrown in on 50 yen sale carts around tokyo today. They shipped too much supply and nobody is buying them anymore. Meanwhile the new Index LN is nowhere to be found despite people wanting to buy.

Please don't tell me because its the most popular manga in Japan. I already know that, thank you very much.

I think you just answered your own question lol
I meant as in "Will there ever be a week where One Piece is #2 instead?"
To be honest, there has to be such a huge wave in order for that to happen. Kinda like how Twilight and 50 Shades of Gray had in the US.
Once upon a time One Piece dreamed it was the manga king. Then it woke up... and was still manga king. One Piece still has this recurring dream to this day.

Keep in mind the only reason Fairy Tail is number two this week instead of number one, is because it's first week sales are split between the regular, and the limited edition. It's total sales is 235179, which trumps One Piece's sales this week.
As for you're larger question, you apparently manage to only read the list when a new volume of One Piece has been released, or the 2-3 weeks right after that.
Well, right now One Piece is getting to the climax- so of course the charts reflect that. You should've come when Fishman Island was up. I think OP was selling less then. :/
BassExtractor said: Now we only need an english license of Kimi no iru machi! man, does anyone know if or when that's going to happen?
Mabye pretty sure Suzuka was licensed. But I dont think its a priority way more popular manga that still need to be licensed pretty sure it depends on the company though. Meh I prefer just reading the raws, even if it gets licensed like it takes months for them to release a volume lol.
