| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- .... Renshou laughed, saying that Ririchiyo haven't change... They joked around for a bit... Ririchiyo commented on Renshou's wrinkles... And how he have gotten old... Renshou asked if he could hug Ririchiyo... When Renshou hugs Ririchiyo... I feel very emotional... Renshou then asked Ririchiyo about her health... Her asthma... Whether she's been eating her meals... Whether she made any friends... Thinking about all the years that he have been through(how he watches as the whole gang died off one by one, leaving him all alone), and how much he must've missed the whole gang... Looking at the older, tired looking Renshou... He have such a sad air around him. Renshou's the same age as the "past" Ririchiyo, and was like a brother to her... He must've longed to hug Ririchiyo in his arms again... I cannot imagine how lonely Renshou must've felt... Ririchiyo cried a few tears... Renshou said he'd cherish the new gang just the same as he would with their previous self... Easily the most emotional scene I've ever seen... (All media combine) EDIT: I know, this post is messy. But I really cannot find the words to describe my feelings, or how to describe how each manga panel affected me emotionally. I've never cried to any anime/manga/movie whatever. And am somewhat proud of the fact. But this time, I feel very shitty over the fact that I can't even drop a tear for this chapter. I want to bawl my eyes out, my chest have tighten and my heart felt the sting... But why can't I cry? |

| Kagerou's "Maniac" moments were hilarious... Anyhow, from a philosophical point of view, I'd argue they're all the same people as they were before. Of course, your personality is shaped based on your memories, but so long as you share the same consciousness as your previous incarnation, you're the same person. |
