| Nothing that Kyubey ever said does make sense, nothing!! He was talking about collecting the power of a magical/witch to protect and to save the universe. But why the hell would he then really desire to make an contract with Madoka Kaname ? it does not make sense at all. She would have the power to destroy the entire universe in all times . And as Kriemhild Gretchen she would destroy everything that ever existed for sure. |

| Main Problem is that with her kind of wish ending up to create a entire universe would resolve into destroying a entire universe aswell. Thats why she created a link fro saving everything for the entire destruction by killing herself (her witchform) Imagine she would not have done that kind of link for saving, it would end up destroying everything that ever existed |

| I believe it is because Kyubey was certain Madoka's transformation from human to Magical Girl to Witch would produce enough energy to finally fill his quota, so if she ended up destroying one planet it was of no consequence in the greater scheme of the Universe, at least in his mind. This interpretation is based on a quote from episode 10 (though it might be twelve, or for that matter, eleven) Much as I wish I had this anime memorized... |
| Sure, he did say it in episode 10 in one of the timelines from Homura Akemi. But in the final episode Kyubey told us that the power of creating a entire Universe system will result into a power that can destroy a entire universe system. That would mean this power can destroy everything that ever existed. That is a power that logically would be to dangerous to handle it. Kyubey did know that Madoka could get this kind of power. He mentioned it in the episode 08, that Madoka has the power to break every rule in the entire universe. That means her power has no limit anymore. |
