Drama on a Saturday morning. It seems that Yui is still down ;.; Well, at least she gets several confessions in a row

It is good to see her back in school later though with a more cheerful self but Inaba gets a surprise visit?! It also seems they're going on some sort of camping trip next time..

Oh god, Aoki you silly goose:

I can sort of relate to Inaba, but her choices towards everything is annoying me a bit now. I realize she's a great character and all, but I just can't come to like her yet.

Anyway, the rest of the episode was great and so were all the interaction especially between Taichi & Iori at the beginning, Aoi and Yui, and all four of them in the clubroom. Now all we need is Inaba in there too.

I've also made the decision that Heartseed is not as much of a villain as all the characters believe he is.

Taichi's voice in his head screaming "Kurae!" (Eat!) was funny as hell. The fact that the inside-the-head voice is only used for serious moments such as him telling Iori not to get in his way and injuring her in the previous episode being used for such a comedic scene is just hilarious.

Oh, the amount of fanservice in this episode (It's mostly just Yui in Aoki's fantasies, though).

Next week looks like the climax for this arc.

This week is pretty decent. It's not as heartbreaking as EP4, but another calm sea before the storm episode (as I'm pretty sure this is pre-ending of this arc.)

And yeah, yet again for this arc, if you hate Inaba, you will not like this arc at all. This arc is really Inaba-centric, as she's the key to this arc. As this episode (and the ED) has revealed, this 'desire unleashed' breaks Inaba because she doesn't want to let other know her true desire that she likes Taichi. If that's revealed, then she scared that the group will fall apart.

I like the part where Taichi and Aoki were in Yui's room. I like when he confessed to her again, and when she said that she wanted him to protect her. It's just ... so sweet. Come on Aoki, just give up on your symtom already and let Aoki into your heart. He won't make you sad. :)

For the clubroom part, I kinda feel like the writer trying to make us feel like that everything would go back to normal ... until they cut back to Inaba and Yui in the hallway, then the unexpected visit from Heartseed. Wow, that was pretty good contradiction ... and yet again, concludes the goal of heartseed: to make Inaba spill out that she loves Taichi

Taichi and Iori scene in the beginning disappointed me a bit. At least gave each other a hug, you know? You guys have a feeling for each other .. come on ...

Now, all the key characters are back in the group. From the preview, this is going to be fun ... Also, when Inaba ...
The next episode is going to be good.

Another terrific episode; definitely the best of this current arc!

Despite the more dramatic nature of this episode compared to the previous few, the tone throughout was at it's most consistent and enjoyable. The comedic elements blended extremely well with the more serious ones, and the episode benefited greatly from this balance. The larger focus on Yui and Aoki was a very welcome addition, and his confessions to her were touching and hilarious. This scene, in particular, was improved even further by the quiet, but subtly effective music that accompanied it. Even though Yui remains somewhat unwilling, I thoroughly enjoy the hints that point toward an eventual romance between them.

Inaba was fantastic towards the end, and she continues to easily be my favorite character. Her development is fascinating to watch. I especially loved the scene where Heartseed assisted her in fully realizing and understanding her feelings for Taichi. The growing potential for a relationship between them is excellent, as their interactions are one of the best elements of the show. The seemingly imminent "triangle" between Inaba, Taichi, and Iori doesn't bother me as it normally would, since it will likely be handled quite well and unobtrusively. Of course, the possible Taichi x Inaba pairing is my favorite by far, so that's certainly a part of my excitement for these new developments.

Taichi's speech concerning his self-realization was a very necessary step for him to take, allowing him to come to terms with his own flaws and selfish motivations, and, thankfully, it looks as though he's finally aware of what direction is often best in dealing with other's emotional problems. The apologies and reconciliations at the beginning were essential in order for the majority of their wounds to begin to heal. It was nice to finally see their temporarily fractured group fully come together in the final moments. The scene where all their desires were unleashed simultaneously was another great example of their terrific chemistry, further highlighting how the characters and their interactions with one another remains the best aspect of the show.

Overall, Kokoro Connect continues to excel with it's story, effortlessly compelling characters, and it's impressive handling of a plethora of complex emotions. I'm really excited for the climax of this arc, since the next episode looks to be rather exceptional.

Hell ya! This is the kind of thing I expect from the series. Brilliant mind play from Heartseed with Inaba, his attack on her psyche was very well done. With her pushed into a corner like this, she has no choice but to go along with his schemes and next week should prove to be a pretty intense episode. After my disappointment with last week, my faith in this anime has been restored.

Easy... this was way to easy to reconcile the five of them. I expect to see the wall around Inaba to be smashed and her to panic if Nagase learns that she's also in love with Taichi.

It seems things are starting to return back to normal with their clique, which is nice. It was getting pretty depressing with everyone acting emo all of the time. The Yui/Aoki Love Hotel thing was pretty funny, along with the whole food battle royale. Inaba seems to be struggling the most with having her inner desires unleashed. Things should get pretty interesting with that field trip coming up next episode. Maybe a Inaba vs. Iori catfight? Possibly. Let's hope so! :D

Enjoyed the episode, and because of the visit from heartseed I'm excited for the next, by the looks of the preview it seems Iori wants to get closer to Taichi (they look more like an actual couple) and Inaba is getting jealous and says something selfish like I will only stay with the club if I can have Taichi, lol, it looks interesting :)

So Yui got cured of her fear and Inaba got a reality check which predicts many good things for future episodes i guess and judging from the previews next week should be fun.
I was always wondering why Goto sensei didn't wonder what happened when the flower took over but i guess this explains the question tho it did create a new one why would he not wonder about the blanks in his memory's?

I guess Inaba is hiding her feelings for Taichi it's become clear that she has some feelings for him since her first desire attack was seducing Taichi.
Still how will she explain this to Iori and Taichi let alone the rest of the group.

Everything else could be forgiven, but throwing Iori (or any of the others, had it been one of the others) off the bridge into the river can never be forgiven.

Personally speaking, even under good conditions, my mind wanders and right now I couldn't account for what I was doing on an hourly basis today (and forget about any more detail than that), never mind yesterday. Generally speaking, unless somebody were to specifically ask me for some detail that triggers a reference I can use, I can only remember highlights of what happened in the past, and that's about it.

That's not to say I can't remember things - my memory is fairly good, but it's almost never chronologically ordered, and rarely socially oriented. I can recall details about what happens in a given 50 lines of computer code in a code base of 100,000 lines, but I have trouble remembering exactly what I was working on at work yesterday. So I can imagine somebody like Goto not getting concerned over not remembering what he might have been doing for half an hour or so that morning, for instance.

Yay, Taichi and Aoki successfully convinced Yui to go back to school. Aoki is a real man. Yui was so cute this episode. Loved how Aoki is acting so lovey-dovey and making the situation pretty awkward. xD Talking about 'love hotels' and all so calmly. Loved it when Aoki said 'That's not what you're supposed to ask. Something like this' and Yui repeats what he says 'Please, protect me?' and Aoki replies with 'It would be my honour'. :DD

The desires being unleashed when they wanted to eat all those foods that Yui bought was hilarious. Made that scene 10 times more epic when Taichi's inner desire voice 'Eat!' came on. xD

Heartseed appearing at Inaba's house late at night is pretty damn creepy. So seems like Inaba does 'like' Taichi but didn't want to admit it.
Next episode is gonna be so damn dramatic, can't wait. Iori finds out Inaba likes Taichi? Diabolic love triangle, let's go!

Finally some time for Aoki to shine, poor guy hardly gets any significant screen time, "love hotel" cracked me up haha

So, Inaba is "just" afraid their friendship might fall apart if her feelings for Taichi come out and the preview left me with the impression that we will see that situation.

Aoki x Yui moment was great...they should really get together already..Yui should just give up and be with him already..

Also, poor Inaba. She doesn't want people to know, but it looks like next episode..things are gonna get out. I know Inaba doesn't want to hurt Iori, b/c she's important to her, and if I were in her place..I'd probably do the same. However, right now I don't care..I just want my favorite character to be happy and be with the guy she's meant to be with..Taichi of course. I really hope they get together.
I am a sucker for romance!!!!
