Lunar Anime Canvas 2 FAQ's said: Canvas 1 and 2 are related like how Onegai Teacher and Twins are related - same school, setting, but totally different story. Canvas 2 characters hold some kind of relationship to Canvas 1 characters, like siblings, or acquaintances. Some Canvas 1 characters will be making cameos, but is not likely to influence your understanding of Canvas 2. Conclusion: You don't need to watch Canvas 1 to know Canvas 2. Canvas 1 was a short OVA - based on the original PC game. Is that clear? :) |

| No way, there was way too much time spent (nearly the entire anime) on developing Kiri's relationship with the main character. It seemed like such a hackneyed and stupid decision for the guy to drop pretty much everything and in 15 minutes go from "Oh I love Kiri" to "OMGMyCousinIsLeavingOnAPLaneAndIsSoHotSoIMustRunThereAndStuff" Terrible ending. I liked to pretend that Ellis just got hit by a truck or something. |
