Kimi wa Pet

It starts slowly by presenting Sumire's life up until she found Momo and reluctantly allowed him to stay at her place, but not without winning the upper hand by making him into her pet. It takes a while before we get glimpses at Momo's point of view but you'll fall for his quiet nature regardless.

The art is soft and a bit edgy, befitting both characters.

They'll draw you in and even though the story lingers at some point, you won't be disappointed to see it through the end.

There's a J-Drama adaptation on which you can find more info here.

I just started reading recently and I like it more than I thought I would. It's definitely addicting. The only problem I have with it is that I feel bad for Hasumi. He is a genuinely nice guy, and I admittedly even like him more than Momo - not to say that I dislike Momo.

Ahahah I'm glad you like it :)

Yeah I felt the same at first, Hasumi really is a nice guy and there's no other way to put it. But after a while I started to find him plain and uninteresting... he's quite the stereotype actually ;)

Well, in his defense, Hasumi isn't given much depth. The mangaka hasn't bothered to explore much of his life or personality. Personally, I don't believe he is a stereotype, so much as a flat character.

Ah, point taken. You get to see him a little more later on but you're right, we don't see his depth (I think... read this manga a while back). I think his character description revolves mainly around his relation with Sumire.

Well, of course, he is only a plot tool.
