Poor Jim, with John Silver showing his dark side, what shall the poor lad do?

That scene where Jim tied himself to a rope and hung outside of the cabin's window was very expressive and at the same time amusing.

When will Benbow stop getting abuse? Poor cat must be in agony!

Those adults sure are irresponsible. Giving guns to minors and sending them to the island alone with a dozen pirates and all ^^.
I probably regret this post by now.

Jim sees Silvers true face for the first time and they're already on the island, guess it won't be long till they find the treasure.

It took a lot of time setting up, the betrayal and john's laugh at the end were the highlight this time

In the novel Jim decides to join Silver and the others who go to the island on his own, rather surprising Livesey and the others who are planning to take action once most of the mutineers are off the ship. It's one of the more foolish things he does in the story.

Although it may seem like a product of the kind of exaggerated physical prowess often favored in anime, Silver throwing his crutch like a spear and perhaps breaking the spine of his victim is actually straight from the book, although in the book Silver quickly crawls over to the downed man and stabs him between the shoulders to make sure he's dead. The man is also an honest sailor who is killed because he refuses to join Silver's mutiny rather than a disobedient pirate.

Treasure Island itself is described in the book as treed with oak and pine, making it apparently a lot further north than the tropical setting this series has chosen. I suspect most, if not all, adaptations of the story make the same choice as an allusion to the Caribbean haunts of pirates during this period of history.
