| So economy of the kingdom where Hero and Co. is declining due to that guy who was with the young merchant buying all the supplies of wheat. This chapter was waay too complicated though I think I got most of it. I think only those who have a certain understanding of economics would understand this really. I wonder what the dragon princess wants with Young Merchant I hope she ain't plotting something. |

| Even after winning people there's much to be done. Even with the influx of people the following problems are one familiar from history as well. Love how swiftly they dealt with the food situation even without the Queen there. Even managing to work their shiny new potatoes into the equation, I feel good about their growth. :) |

| Runaway inflation and hoarding is the new problem in Central. And as suspected, the merchant Union is behind it. Don't tell me Young Merchant's doing this to cause unrest in the Central Kingdoms? I don't get what his objectives and motivations are for mass hoarding of goods. Is it really simply for profit? Another danger is the faster than expected mobilization of troops in Central. With lots of gold, finding mercenaries will be easy. But the attackers also have a problem. With looming food shortages, this quickly assembled army will have serious supply problems unless they manage to plunder the lands they attack. I wonder what Dragon Princess is planning. It was a surprise to see her in the human world. |
| he did say he was taking a neutral stance.....if southern kingdoms do something about it to mitigate the rising inflation....they will weather it while the north suffers. he neither helps nor hinders the south and at the same time makes a hefty profit. it is awesome to see the development of various technologies, sociological and governmental development. i dunno if you caught it, but he just created a futures deal using a bond which is how the stock market works to day. not to mention supply and demand and the fluctuations in prices that happen because of it. as for dragon princess....i wonder just how much she likes the hero...or maybe she has come to fetch him in order to help the demon queen. |
