| So, let's put a little more life into this thing. If you could change parts of the series and the ending, which ones would you change? In my opinion, everything up to episode 7 was fine. I don't mind Kuu's longing for Kyoshiro and sadness etc because it allowed for Setsuna and Kuu to kiss and hug. When I saw episode 7, it felt like the tide was turning, so I got very excited (yeah I watched it as it came out). After that episode is when I would have changed things. I probably would have allowed for all the Kazuya stuff as he's quite important, but then I would have had all Setsuna's efforts(handing Kuu the brooch etc) to have made Kuu realise just how far Setsuna would go for her, and develop a relationship from there. Alternatively I would have had the fifth special be the actual series. That thing was awesome. (Also don't worry about it not having subs. It doesn't actually have anything important dialogue-wise that you can't easily figure out from what you can see.) |

| I was going to reply to this, and it kinda slipped my mind. Episode 7 was definitely the turning point. They could have played more on Kyoshiro's rejection of Kuu and the way he dismissed Setsuna. However, I would have changed the first 7 episodes a little as I think there had been too much build-up prior to that to really switch to a Setsuna x Kuu romance. Maybe Setsuna could have been the one to comfort Kuu at the end of episode 6 when she finds out she's a zettai tenshi. Also, in episode 8 Setsuna saw Kuu leave after Kyoshiro's rejection. She could have been the one to save Kuu rather than Kyoshiro. As for the fifth special, SHiN-gx fansubbed it and you can find it here. |
