| There needs to be a yaoi magazine (or magaline) in English. If I could translate, you'd be sure I'd have started that magazine by now. But I only speak English. I dream of a day when the majority of yaoi scanlators band together to create one magazine. It'd cover everything: A popular yaoi manga being animated, translated interviews with famous mangakas, yaoi quizzes and tests (Does This Qualify As Safe Lubrication?), reviews, articles (How To Know When The Sex Is Not Consensual), etc. And, of course, the monthly shounen ai manga and yaoi one shot. In the mean time, do you know if any scanlation teams are planning to pick this up, yet? Nakama is probably the most likely to jump on it, but I hope a smaller team gets it; as extremely well as Nakama is doing, I trust smaller teams not to drop it. |
| Japanese is really hard to translate ;_; I only found out that one of them is a mechanic, which i already knew, and that they're arguing about a customer's car or something... | I hope dp will pick this up, seeing as they already did most (all?) of her original works. Or Blue Spring scans? They're doing a pretty good job on Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai. We'll see! And wait. 3 chapters is not much, but I'm happy with whatever she gives us (see Eros in the Stoic for reference, hehe). Also: 61 pages! Woohoo! |
| How come Reply doesn't apear in the MAL database? I was so born in the wrong country, can't understand much but the story seemes to be pretty intense! My spidey sense calls the dark one uke :d //Edit: I take that back, it's not intense, the uke is just an overreacting blushing teary maiden. This is not sensei's best work so far and definitely it's no Saezuru. |

| He, he, don't get so carried away, Yoneda tweeted: mechanic=uke :D About the other things i've said...I first got the chinese raws and i saw them talking and Seki's teary face and i was like, WTF are they taling about, must be sooooo intense. Also Seki was blushing every two panels. And then i read the spanish version and i was kinda dissapointed (i guess i had my hopes up too high). It's impossible for this manga to top Saezuru or Doushitemo but that doesn't mean it will be bad. Anyway, i really liked Takami, he reminds me of that guy from Nights. |

She's talented, and everything she creates is outstanding, but those manga are just way too perfect to replicate. You can't touch them. Stating that, it's probably only setting yourself up for disappointment if you try to compare virtually anything to them. poliyoyo said: There are more scanners, cleaners, and proofreaders out in the world, than translators. | Well, all the spanish i know is from watching soap operas with my granny when i was a kid. :D I may not fully understand some of the more subtile lines. Also, it takes about 5-15 minutes to translate one page by myself. About Reply: I sincerely hope this is not one of those"gay guy falls in love with straight guy, confesses, gets rejected, straight guy thinks it over and also falls for gay guy, they have sex". I've read dozens like that. I love this woman to death but Yoneda would better pull a white rabbit out of her ass by the next chapter. Otherwise this gets an 8. :D Later edit: uhhh, maybe i'm just frustrated because i can't seem to find any more yaoi manga to my taste and i kinda had high hopes for this one. Saezuru and Yuuutsuna Asa are on hiatus and Castle Mango just ended. How will i survive till november????? |

| I feel bad for criticising a scanlation team's work, but the Le Pips translations from nihonomaru don't make a lot of sense. :( Hope the guys from yaoiotaku will release the second chapter, they seemed to do a better job. |
