Since we didn't already have one of these threads... Initially I didn't really care for some of her roles (Kaede and Mikuru) but I've come to appreciate how she can play such different characters, and of course her voice in general. Some of my favs... Raichou Hiratsuka (who I affectionately call "Gotofly", from Kyouran Kazoku Nikki), who inspired me to join this club Bell Zephyr (Night Wizard), because a deliciously megalomaniac Goto villain is fine too Miyu Kuonji (KimiAru), subpar show with a few good voices Hiro (Hidamari Sketch), the first role I liked her in |

I first heard her as Mikuru in Haruhi but wasn't really excited. Then I heard her as Miyu in KimiAru and that really piqued my interest. Then I heard her as Hikaru in Special A and I was really blown away. She did such an amazing job in that role I watch it just to hear her voice (and Akira, too). It really made me appreciate all of her other roles that much more. And Hiro in Hidamari is just so sweet. :) |

Hiro from Hidamari Sketch. Her slightly "deeper" voice timbre really gave her character the "motherly" feel Hiro needed In Kate from Sketchbook, Goto seemed to be able to pronounce english very well, at least MUCH better than a "certain girl from CORUNUWARU".... though i wish Kate spoke english more oftenly Abiru Kobushi from SZS... mostly because of my undying love for this amazing series, but also for her mood transitions from distant bandage girl to overenthusiastic tail fetishist. |
