| pretty sad he is in a downward spiral overwhelmed by failures while exploited by the new girl to have the right head space to think of alternatives. Just when i thought the old man would be the elder male figure letting out the right words to Tsutomu ,he conflates his BS past of lacking mettle shouldering responsibilities to Tsutomu's self admonishment for not having the means to take responsibility.Oil and water. Don't know how all of this can be tied in the last few chapters. |
