Balthier/Ashe or Balthier/Fran?

Which of the main cast do you ship Balthier with?

Balthier/Fran is one of my all time favourite relationships, but only as good friends. I feel like these two could fight like a married couple, get undressed in the same room, all of that, but still not want anything more than a good, strong friendship.

Balthier/Ashe on the other hand... that could probably work. Sounds hot, though Ashe seems like the marrying kind while Balthier does not. But I guess she could probably turn him? I don't know, there's a few good fics out there.

I also like Balthier/Penelo if it's unrequited love - with Penelo crushing hard on Balthier.

I added some slashy options in there. I'm not a fan of slash myself, but I know it's popular so I thought I'd throw it in there. Why not.

I agree with you! for me, I like Balthier/Ashe more. I could see him close to Fran but as a friend, best friend I should say. But the romantic stuff is all for Ashe.

Why is there no "Neither" option? I quite like the idea of him being somewhat of a playboy.

Though I'm not sure if towards the end of the game they were hinting romance, Balthier x Fran seems just best friends/partners to me.
As for Ashe, I don't see the connection between these two. They have absolutely nothing in common and no chemistry.

If I really had to choose one: Fran, by far.

Balthier/Ashe. Because the scenes seem more romantic than of Balthier/Fran's scene. Their scene are merely as partners.Who'd leave his partner out there when she's sick? Also, Fran is 50 years+.Imagine their marriage, it'd be absurd.

Unsure why, perhaps for the sake of few real good fanfics out there, I incline towards Balthier/Penelo. Sorry not sorry, it just sounds so hot. The poor girl must be crushing on him hard, judging by her reactions to him.

Balthier is certainly a very suave man, he loves flirting and messing around, however his relationship with Fran seems to me more like a good business partnership. With Ashe it is hard to say, she doesn’t seem to be interested in him much, nor show any obvious affection towards him.

Well, how about adding the option of myself there? I would be much obliged. Muahahaha~
