Right now I'm watching an anime called "Mirai Nikki". It has a lot of blood and such sometimes, but in *Spoilers!* episode 7

And in another episode when they look at Uryuu(Ninth)

Have I've been watching an censored version or is it supposed to be like that?

i dont recall ever seeing anything censored when I watched this series.

It doesn't matter. All youd be missing is generic shounen with blood spray painted on to make it "darker"
