| I actually made this defense two years ago, hehe. Gold and Yellow complete each other in terms of personality, what one has the other doesn’t. It is not exactly opposites attract but more of they can affect each other in a good way. They could actually be very supportive of each other, also Yellow could show Gold’s gentle side and Gold would help Yellow see in a different perspective. There are arguments on how Yellow could never control/handle Gold. I have one question for those who say this, does Gold need to be controlled? I believe that he should be free to do what he wants, he sometimes does stupid things and maybe at other times, he might be over the top but I can assure you that Gold knows what he is doing. He is not stupid and is just a little wild. And our wild girl Sapphire who is a lot more ‘wild’ than Gold is with Ruby who cannot handle her at times. His wildness is quite natural for guys in my point of view so there is not much argument on this matter. Their personalities clash quite well. Gold is quite a confident person and if he ever did lose any self-esteem, Yellow, being the caring person she is would be able to help him. Also as Gold is quite confident, he would be able to encourage Yellow more in ways that other characters cannot. This goes with my first paragraph where their influence is quite beneficial to each other. They are both great with pokemon. As one is more with nature and treats pokemons as friends while the other is named the pokemon breeder. They would not see each others as rivals and they have a common love for pokemon. I’m not saying that others don’t love their pokemon but I just say that this adds to their chemistry as both are the most involved with pokemon and they both treat their pokemon as friends. They are both very determined people. They are both strong-willed and persevere towards their goal. Like I said their clash of personalities is quite interesting, they are both different and similar in a lot of ways and would surely get along if only both characters gave it a thought or they would just interact more. They look quite good together in my point of view, I find it as a very cute ship and that Gold can easily make Yellow smile and vice-versa. They fit each other quite nicely though there will surely be some downs as well us ups. Well you know, the first time I’ve thought of this ship, I just thought how well they could get along and what a great ship it could be. Although I didn’t exactly think of these points but rather it just attracted me a lot. And the weirdest thing is I got into this ship or found it and came to like it while I was looking through someone's hate list XD |
