| GENE/SIS - Genetically Engineered Neurol Enhancement / Symbiotic Interaction System. These are memebers of the GENE/SIS experiment; the government's way to attempt to end wars and protect its own country. This didn't work well, however, for common people started acquiring these powers. These humans are weapons. Their bodies have specially altered parasitic weapon-like functions that will transform one of their body parts into a sword, gun, shield, etc. ANYTHING, but it all has a similar appearance. They all look like you'd imagine a parasite to look like, including an eye at the starting point of the weapon. Out of weapon form, an eye will reside at the place of parasitic resonance. The eye is in fact literally what it means. It is an eyeball on your body. It looks around, it blinks, it does everything an eye would, except it lacks eyelashes. Ex: An arm, a leg, the chest, etc. APPEARANCE - The weapons are usually large, being wider than the width of your arm and longer than your leg. The blade parts / barrel parts of the weapons will look normal metallic-like, like swords and guns would look, except for the area near the starting point / parasitic resonance point. The user should be able to morph the weapon into anything he or she would want it to morph in to. Also, in most cases, the parasite weapon will develop a mind of its own. This will be similar to 'voices in your head' or schizophrenia. Most of the time, its conscience will have good or neutral intentions. Then there are the ones with bad intentions, driving the user crazy. There is a limit to the host's capability. If the body is weak, it will be devoured by the parasitic weapon, causing the parasite to become the main body, turning the person into a creature. PROTOCOL - There are two types of the GENE/SIS weapon; Military Protocol (MP) and Standard Protection Protocol (SPP). Military Protocol was the first issued to the United States Military, used in the war. These models have only one thing in mind, destroying the opposing side. This makes it easy for them to malfunction and want to destroy everything. The thought process and emotional wavelength of the malfunctioning MP devices fluctuate constantly, and are usually insane, in turn driving the host insane as well. This brings us to the Standard Protection Protocol. These models were created for the soul purpose of the protection of civilians from the malfunctioning MP devices and the devoured hosts of an MP device. The thought process of the SPP devices are to eliminate the devoured and malfunctioning MP devices. This makes their emotional wavelength very steady and neutral to all situations, usually causing little to or no distress at all to the host. MP models, being the first product of the government, aren't as flexible as the newer, SPP models. MP models typically are only able to morph into a gun and sword, maybe a shield. The SPP models are capable of morphing into basically anything. All parasites are considered another 'soul'. They live within you, and co-exist with you. Only the host is able to hear their voices. Eye color of the parasite's eye varies on the user. AUGMENTATION - When using the parasitic weapon, the host has the choice of letting his or her parasite 'augment' their bodies, increasing their agility, reflex and speed by a landslide. GENE/SIS parasites can also take full control of their host (only at the host's will if they are strong enough to completely control their parasite) and maximize their strength, agility, speed and reflex. The host's eyes will glow the same color as their parasite's eye. REGENERATION - Damaging the host's weapon will only result in rapid regeneration. This happens when the weapon is torn or completely separated from the main body. If the tissue separated from the main body is too large, the host will have to reattach itself with the lost tissue. This involves mini vesicles that emerge from the separation point, reattaching the lost tissue. TIMELINE - The year is 2032 2012: - Scientists research new ways to combat other countries' military by altering genetic information to create superhumans. 2013: - Russia finds out about the United States' secret government projects involving genetics and DNA altering, fearing the US might lead an attack on Communist Russia. 2015: - Scientists successfully create a new type of human being, calling it the GENE/SIS experiment, implanting parasitic lifeforms into humans and creating a new species of superhuman. First group of subjects were a success. 2016: - United States Military armed with Military Protocol GENE/SIS weapons. - War breaks out between Russia and the United States. 2018: - Two years of war leaves the majority of the Russian army demolished due to the United States' extreme upper advantage. 2019: - Czar of Communist Russia killed by elite group of super soldiers, ending the war. Following the death of the Czar, soldiers become edgy. 2020: - Soldiers begin to go crazy with power, committing mass murder of allies during time on base in Russia. - United States citizens begin acquiring the means to undergo procedures involving the GENE/SIS weapon. - Killings erupt all over the US. 2023: - First unit of GENE/SIS designed for civilian protection has been created for Standard Protection Protocol. 2025: - Number of civilian deaths by MP units recede by over 75%. 2029-32: - Group of youths who've acquired SPP units combat MP units all over the world. - New group of MP units arising. - Gene-X Hospital founded for the care of wounded GENE/SIS hosts. 2032: - Terrorist attacks from independent MP units leave London's Westminster Abbey in rubble. |
