Alright, we don't have many Shojo yet. However, I'm hoping to change that with your help!

Here's a few lists:

Um... so for manga like Oresama Teacher, where should it go to? I reckon "Profession", "Delinquent", "School" and "Cross-dressing" all seem to appear in this manga. ^^" And for Seiyuu Ka~!, "Showbiz", "School" and "Cross-dressing" all seem to fit as well.
Perhaps we should divide the list differently?
I agree we should have a mangaka list with manga suitable for the purpose of the club, though. :]

I don't mind a manga befitting more than 1 list.
Oresama Teacher I would put in "School" and maybe "Delinquent".
However, unless I'm mistaking, Mafuyu doesn't pretend to be a boy O.o
And the teacher is not all that present in the story... at least at first so I'm not sure I'd put profession as well. But that's debatable since I'm pretty sure they'll end up together :3

I haven't read Seiyuu Ka~!, "Showbiz" and "School" yes. Cross-dressing?

Just to be clear, for a manga to be listed in "Cross-dressing", it has to be the lead girl who cross-dresses or maybe the guy she's in love with but not a secondary character.

So the point of these lists if for people to easily fetch recommendations according to their tastes. I don't mind if a manga ends-up on more than one list :)

Mafuyu dresses up as "Natsuo" ocassionally.
http://myanimelist.net/character/49935/Natsuo
I think the Profession list is pretty vague... exactly when it's appropriate to put a manga on this list?

In Seiyuu Ka~!,

I understand why you would like to do it, and personally I like the idea, too. It's just that..., if manga are divided into many types, they might put you through lots of trouble for little benefit. ^^"

Natsuo is when Mafuyu was in her former high School. I haven't seen her pretending to be a guy except for that short visit she did to her old friends.

So no, that wouldn't qualify as a Cross-Dressing manga in my opinion because even if the subject is used, it's not the main focus of the story. I'd be willing to put her in a category about the bunny mask though but not cross-dressing...

Think of it this way, people browsing the cross-dressing manga list will be looking for stories about cross-dressers. They'd be disappointed then don't you think? ;)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seiyuu-ka~! I guess I'll have to read.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is a lot of work indeed, which is why I'm looking for someone to help me admin this club ^^
I think it's worth it though. I want this club to be useful on top of one where you can chat with people. So people can visit us and get good recommendations and stuff. :)

I think it's worth the trouble :3
I'll make a thread to recruit an Admin soon, keep your eyes peeled xD

Um... actually, she first used that disguise in front of Hayasaka~ XD

True, though... So to be qualified as "cross dressing", the manga is likely to be tagged with "gender bender" then?

Mmm... I understand; I join this club to see more manga with strong girls, after all. :3

Oh! Could you explain to me the difference between "Gender-bender" and "cross-dressing" then?

I'm afraid I don't know the difference ^^;

I don't know how others define/think of them, but for me, gender-bender includes cross-dressing and turning into the opposite sex (like Gyakuten Honey).

I understand when the characters get turned into the opposite sex, they'll have to wear clothes of the opposite sex, but it still looks like a girl wearing a skirt and a boy wearing boys' clothes to me, and I have a tendency to avoid this type of gender bender, so yeah... I guess that's where my definitions come from?

So gender-bender: Includes Cross-dressing AND behaving like the opposite sex

Cross-dressing: Dressing like the opposite sex without necessarily changing attitude

Is that correct?

I wouldn't mind separating the 2 in the "cross-dressing" List :)
But Oresama still won't make it to the list however, Mafuyu cross-dresses for like 1 or 2 chapters max (which is not enough by my standards) ;)

It's okay if you leave it as one. Just do it as you see fit.
If it's about Oresama that bothers you, I was half joking when I pointed out that she cross dressed in front of Hayasaka. ^^" I'm sorry...
I realized she doesn't even cross dress often enough to have to manga tagged "gender bender", much less put on this list.

Oh right! Sorry if I sounded too serious, I didn't get that you were joking ahah ^^; It's hard to convey tone hehe

Sooooo.... how about we see which manga fit the category and then decide if it's worth seperating "gender-bender" and "cross-dressing" :)

Nah, it's my fault. I have to admit I have a bad sense of humor. :)

Anyway... for now I can only think of the following manga, which are also available on the relation/nominee list:
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
Usotsuki Lily
Seiyuu Ka~!
Hana no Kishi
Hybrid Berry

Cool, noted.
However, we'll wait for a manga to be in the Club's Relations before listing it obviously. Hana no Kishi has been listed though! :3

She did it more often in the more recent chapters, though :O

(I'll try reading one later, but most of them are such long series... Dx)

I've moved _RyOmI_, DorahYuki and inzaratha's recommendations to the Relations Thread.
The manga's you've suggested for our lists aren't in the club's relations yet but I counted your suggestions as votes.
