| does anyone know the identities of the characters who, in koihime musou, are suppose to represent dynasty warrior characters? I'm confused, so I appreciate it if someone can help me clarify this using the english names of the dynasty warriors. |

| I got three images that have all of the characters in the game/anime/novel listed with their respective Chinese names (you can then match the said names in wikipedia). I also got one image that includes all of the game's character with their Chinese and English names together. Unfortunately, the number of images are maxed so I can't upload the said images. On an entertaining note, the muscle man is Diao Chan. |

| Holy Crap, I haven't even heard some of these characters from playing dynasty warriors. Who's YanYan? And Riri? What about Yue Jin? I thought Liu Bei was supposed to be the male protagonist in the visual novel as well as the guy who died trying to protect Guan Yu in the anime. Oh yeah...and who are the Wu characters that didn't have the english names shown for them? |

| I finished the Wu pic yesterday but forgot to update it here. Riri is NOT a real character from the Three Kingdom era, and is an original character in Koihime. She is the daughter of Huang Zhong. Yan Yan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yan_Yan Yue Jin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yue_Jin They were both in Dynasty Warrior as a generic if I recall correctly. Liu Bei did not exist in the game. The game lead was an original character (forgot what the english translation of his name was). The guy was a normal high school student in Japan who was thrown in the world of Koihime Musou. If I recall correctly, Liu Bei first appeared in one of the spinoff novel. |
| Oh well...thanks for the clarification. I guess it makes sense for these characters to be noticed from the history books, but it's just that I never saw them appear in the dynasty warriors game series. I couldn't really find some of their pictures on google images. Um...how to say this...which of the characters in your picture above did NOT make an appearance in the dynasty warriors game series? If you could help me clarify this, I would appreciate it, so I can research who the other characters are on my own, since I already know most of the ppl from playing dynasty warriors games. |

| Riri, Shamu, Tora, and Mike are the original characters that do not exist, thus none of them are in Dynasty Warrior series. I am pretty sure the rest are all in the game, though a number of them are generic officers (such as Xun Yu, an officer that you often see beside Cao Cao in battle). |
| Interesting...and by generic, do you mean the officers who are not playable? Because I still could not find some of the game images on google. Jia xu and Ma dai sound familiar but distant at the same time. |

| Yes, the unplayable officers who all share similar generic looks. Dynasty Warriors Empires allow you to play as them though, so that isn't technically correct. |
