| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- A new chapter! 31 picks up where 30 leaves off (obviously), with Mutsuki declaring his intent to monopolize Anis to, well, pretty much everyone in hearing distance with Kaede's more or less mangled body still lying on the ground. And from there, things get SHOW-DOWNY. There were some interesting moments in this chapter, I thought -- Not the least of which were those glances between Tenjoh and Mutsuki as Yocteau spirits him away to sneak a peek at Schwartz's mysterious "contraption." One thing's for sure: Tenjoh was unsettled. Big-time. Well, nobody likes it when their pet runs away from them... And then there's Kaede. Poor, mentally-unstable Kaede. At this point, story-wise, I believe it's been only a little over a week since Kaede confronted Mikage about her true identity, and he's feeling it. Like her or not, she was a classmate, and a possible love-interest for a while, and now he's dealing with the fact that now he very may very well have to kill her. And I guess a betrayal like Mutsuki's, after getting the crap kicked out of him, would tend to fark with your head a bit, too. Also: Kaede is moe. MOE MOE MOE ALSO, ALSO: OH GOD, SHOUOTO I LOVE YOU AND YOUR GUNDAM REFERENCES. |
| This chapter for me is what most would say is INTENSE and so FRUSTRATING. Like on the last page when I tried to get to the next I found out the chapter was O.V.E.R once I found that out I was yelling UUUUUHHHHGGGGGG!!!! I was really upset. Enough of my wines I will say now that this chapter was quite funny too. ^^ |
| The Ninufu bit was amusing, but a touch anoying. I'm probably just biased because I want to claim Mutsuki got her first kiss. xD (though Kaede will probably end up with her) I must say, I fangirled when Mutsuki pronounced he would make Anis his and his alone. The thought of him trying to kill all the Rhode Knights is a horrifying and oh-so-delicious developement. :'D I can't wait for Turtle Paradise (the scanlation team in charge of BnK) to release the next chapter. It's getting down to the nitty gritty, isn't it? And I believe there's some good Kaede action in the next chapter, if memory of my being spoiled serves me right. xD |
