| IMHO, OVAs lack quality in animation and sound compared to the newer animes, contributing to a boring sceneplay. C'mon, we're in 21st century now :D We all demand a new anime adaptation, right? (do you know of any Hakkenden doujinshi BTW? :P) You might prefer to read Hakkenden novels instead (i haven't found them yet, post if you have any clue!). Hakkenden has great and kinda surprising story indeed. But i actually have some complains about the story as well: why doesn't it have some hottie characters with rabu-rabu outfits??!?!? :P Dear pervert ecchi-squad friends (if there will be any), do seal thine expectations. However, anyone who's into japanese oldies would like the story, i guess. Isn't it, Battousai-sama? ;) |

As for the novels, there are 28 volumes and it is veeeeeeeeery hard to find...so I´m almost losing hope here. As for manga and doujin, I know, but I can´t find, there are two manga series, from different authors... ~But if you want to see a more realistic adaptation of the novels, try watching the special Satomi Hakkenden, a live-action adaptation (you just have to see Shino-sama *__________*). *Before you ask...yes, I have Satomi Hakkenden^_^x I agree that the animation in some episodes are really horrible (see the forum topic in the Hakkenden Episodes), but I simply loooooooooooooved the story, the characters, the music and the way the story was being told. Now, I disagree with you: Ecchi is for perverts! Hakkenden is a japanese classical! Not a pervert´s dream XD Battousai-sama ^_^x...you´re the only one that calls me that way! Wee~~ |

I found someone that has the novels...the only problem is...that person lives in Japan...and the books are way to old to open...T-T So...I´m still waiting for a miracle to come my way! Not all the japanese classics have ecchi stuff...I´ve read a bunch of authors and I´ll tell you: the perverts represents 30 to 40% of the population. And almost all are men...and most of them are single XD I thought it was for free XD~ The deal was only to profile2profile! ^^ |
