| I just finished watching the anime and I couldn't detect where to start off from so I'm reading the manga from the beginning. This first chapter included a bit more information than the 1st episode of the series. It shows how the pro-team needed a pitcher in the first place. |

I´m in the same position as you, but I don´t agree with you, the first epsode of anime was exactly the same as mange in my opinion. |

| Also why does the pro team need a pitcher? From where I stand (only having just started the manga and never having seen the anime), There is absolutely no way I could see the team needing a pitcher . . . The second string pitcher is "injured" however the first string pitchers? They haven't been mentioned at all . . . Well whatever. Anyways, interesting first chapter. |
