| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This chapter pretty much confirms that Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam is a sequel of Last Exile. As Exile enters the atmosphere of the blue world, Fam and Giselle make a cameo and are sitting on a rooftop watching Exile's meteor-like reentry. Is this hope that Claus, Lavie, and Al will also appear in the new anime? The question is, why is the Guild also here? |

This is pretty much a sequel to the original Last Exile anime, and probably a spin off of Fam, considering there's a cameo of her and Giselle. I mean, this manga picked up exactly where the first Last Exile ended, how could you not call it a sequel? Anyway, this chapter was amazing. It was like meeting again an old friend that you never saw for years. The fact that this story is drawn instead of animated doesn't take away anything: character design, awesome flight maneuvers, the original Range Murata's mechanical designs, everything is in its place. There's no way this will be a disappointment. |

| I don't see it as a prequel for Fam, sin both are a sequel of Last Exile. It only follow the time line. You see after a movie or a serie, when they say 'They lived many others adventures, but that's another story' this is it, we are there. |
