DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- After viewing this episode, its obvious its garnered toward a young female audience :( I'm still going to keep watching since the main character seiyu also plays as Allision in Allison to Lillia, Kagura in Azumanga, Tomoyo in Clannad, Wendy in GunXSword, Kaiba in "kaiba," Margaret Burton in Madlax, Dr. Medusa in Soul Eater, AND sang the theme songs for Bamboo Blade, and Gun X Sword >_< Houko Kuwashima is like my favorite voice actor to my favorite characters in each corresponding anime, except for soul eater, I still love patty thompson. |

| I thought she already knew he was the emperor at beginning of this episode then they went to the streets and at her house it looks like she didn't know again, and finally when he came to the archives as agreed she didn't seem to recognize him as the one impersonating Shuuei even as he has finally and formally introduced himself. O_o Either they're all pretending they don't know the real Emperor when he was with her or I'm the one confused here... |

I think normally, anyone would say that they went to the palace to knock some sense into the emperor so that he can become a responsible ruler, but instead, she said she went to support him. Shuurei's story about the hardships of eight years ago probably also really him since now he knows that it's no joke to be an emperor. She is really creative in the way she convinced Ryuukl to study. The usage of the proverb was nice because of the way it tied into the episode. |

| Amazing episode :) It's good to see the king having experienced what it's like to live outside of his royal palace. I have a feeling he felt guilty when he hear Shuurei's story back then. It definitely made me shed a tear though :( Even though she acts happy and all lively, but deep inside, she fears that one day Shouka and Seiran might disappear someday. And is the king really prefer male? Is being gay a taboo back then in dynasty china? Though no one outside of the palace knows his secret, so i guess in a way he's safe for now. I still think he only said it so that he may hide his feelings towards Shuurei. Her speech really made me love this show even more! Definitely gonna watch this show as seriously now :) Can't wait for more episodes! |

| Shuurei really is awesome :) I certainly didn't expect such a well-characterized protagonist of (what looks like) a reverse harem series. Great episode, this show is shaping up to be exceptional already. |
| If it doesn't go full harem, this might be really good. Very resourceful main character, I like her! |
