| So bad that it's good, actually good enough ta give me a stupid smile for 3/4 of the episode. So that's where the grenade jockstrap scene was originated xD Can't stop laughin' my ass off. Demeyer's a fuckin' bitch -_- Rested on the titties of a hot lady cop, got married to her in the hospital after a beating of a lifetime and got revived coz of the power of love. He's a lucky fuck~ |

| During the scene where Aleepy was having sex with the woman in the apartment while his partner waited in the car, I thought the girl was Perrine and I was getting really pissed at him. I was like, "You know your partner likes her! WTH are you doing??" Then, in the next scene, I figured out that it was a different girl who just looked a lot like Perrine so I was willing to forgive Sleepy. No, I don't get emotionally invested in my anime at all...!!! Great episode by the way! |

| Di Miyer was obviously the evil antagonist but who would've guessed his plan was to kill everyone and rape Perine while doing it. Christ. I wish Enrico's character was a little more fleshed out than "evil android man with a vengeance" but whatever, the ep was good enough without his presence anyway. busterbeam said: The Room is "so bad it's good" because it tried to be serious and failed. This episode was obviously intended to be goofy most of the time. And the part that wasn't completely comical worked - the art & animation for Daizaburo getting beat up was so good I actually felt bad for him & wanted to see the guys fucked up so it was extremely satisfying when they did. wow I didn't expect to see a post about The Room on this site but the contrast you pointed out is spot on |

For me that part actually DIDN'T work because the episode had already established that Perine was a master in multiple martial arts and then all she did was sit around and yell allot like a damsel in distress. We already knew that she was capable of doing at least something. Also the segment with him getting beaten up lasted much longer than it should have, they didn't need to linger on it as long as they did and the reason they did so was probably more a matter of dragging out the anime longer. Most of these older OVAs were originally released on laser disc and it seems to me that there was a mentality that you had to take up the entire side of the laser disc so that the customer would feel like got their money's worth. So you have scenes like that one where it's dragged on much longer than it should simply to make the anime longer. |

| Oh, a new detective joined the precinct. Let's see the name here, eh... Perine Valley. Yeah, seems legit. Sleepy, my dude, that's the wrong place to store grenades. Plus, gg's my dude for tanking a couple of shots in the ass. Daizaburo can take a few hits. Almost beaten to death and still lives on. Also, good accuracy on that machine-gun fire to set up that shite villain for a decapitation via a table. Couldn't help but laugh at Perine being guilt-tripped into marrying Daizaburo, wedding and all. Unintentionally funny, from what was supposed to be a serious scene, hehe. |
