| Dragon Lore (Back Story!) There have always been the two races, dragons and mortal humans. The great dragons danced in the skies and seas, while the simple but clever humans thrived on the surface world and gazed in awe of their brilliance. Among these beautiful dragons was a goddess in the eyes of dragons and humans alike, her name was Caliope the White. A divine white dragon who was a symbol of power and hope, and in time she mated and bore 10 daughters and then passed away. These 10 daughters became later known as the Ancient Dragons, for their deeds and power were unmatched by any dragons and humans alike. Throughout the centuries each daughter passed away, disappeared, or just ‘faded away’. Few remained and the ‘lost ancients’ were later succeeded by their children or apprentices and became legends of their own. But among the ones who did not become ‘lost’ was Angelica "Arcane, Angel,The Five Golden Claws Witch, Black Alchemist" Sorneo, the known ‘Water’ and ‘Rain’ dragon of the family. She befriended many humans and among them was a high priestess named Ophelia, a lady loved by both people and dragons. Angelica and Ophelia were close friends and allies sharing secrets of each other’s worlds… but all that was brought to a halt. An unknown darkness from neither dragon or human in origin had creapt into the land and seized the heart, mind, and both of the dragon Angelica. Ophelia in an attempt to save her dear friend sacrificed herself and freed her… Angelica since that fateful day has not forgiven herself. We now enter the present day, where Angelica seeks her revenge… Caliope, White Divine Dragon Goddess Current Ancient Dragons (Element wheel!): 1. Red/Orange - Ryonna the Flame Dragon... succeeded by daughter Chiona Keio 2. Brown/Tan - Gaalia the Sand Dragon 3. Yellow/Gold - Hinako the Sun Dragon... later succeeded by heir apparent Aria 4. Green/Teal - Ume the Thunder Dragon 5. Blue/LightBlue - Akeni the Frost Dragon… But was succeeded by son ‘Ginko Musushi’ 6.Indigo/Violet- Kino the Spirit Dragon (reserved for Crusoe) 7. Purple/Black- Angelica the Rain Dragon 8. Pink/Lavender - Lay Lei the Wind Dragon 9. Grey/Silver - Lumina the Moon Dragon 10. Colorless/Albino - Grunia the Death Dragon Dragon Ranking (Levels and Ups!): Highest: Ancient Dragons; being the stuff of legends and being a symbol for dragons and humans alike. Only 10 can exist at any given time… 2nd: Alchemist Dragons; a lesser dragon that is talented in many magicks and lore, they would become legends if the position opened for them… 3rd: Knight Dragons; Honorable spellswords that are adept with magic and the blade. Heroes that have earned their names and titles through valiant deeds… 4th: Priest/Priestess Dragons; Adept healers and holy wish granters of dragons, talented yet simple creatures they are… 5th: Warrior Dragons; The most common and basic foot soldier of dragons, but when one is at the bottom they have no place to go but up. They are dreamers seeking a chance at greatness… Monsters and Enemies 1. Unknown Class- The Dark Flame: An enigmatic enemy of mysterious origins, no one seems to know whether or not it is a human or dragon or something else. But is known is that it can 'puppet' others and use them at will. 2. Human Class- Dragon Slayers: Mercenaries, psychos, thrillseekers, avengers; all sorts of people become slayers. They seek fortune, fame, and everything that goes with it. Few see them as heroes, but many see them as blasphemous godkillers. Liches: They aren't technically 'undead' priests or priestesses, its more like their corrupted souls refused to leave their bodies after death. Many of these beings are exceptionally powerful and tend to have many minions at their disposal. These beings have magic power levels that could rival that of a Dragon's. Zombies: They go by many names and have many subtypes; like 'revenants', 'bonewalkers', or even just regular 'undead'. They are armies made from corpses and are known to be contagious, their creation is illegal. But sometimes a dark mage is crazy enough to try. 3. Dragon Class- Fallen: These are 'Fallen Dragons'; Dragons that were exiled by the rest of dragonkind for their malicious deeds and they now live in hiding amongst the humans. Many work as Seekers for Dragon Slayers Draken: Undead Dragons; vicious, feral, and mindless killing machines. They have some intelligience and can still take on their human forms. Worst of all they can still use magic. 4. Spirit Class: Shade: A collection of spirits of humans, dragons, and various animals fused together to make a hive mind concious. They are melancholic and dangerous, they may just ignore you or attack without warning. Elemental: A being born from natural wild magic taking some form of nature. Be cautious their moods are like a Shade's. It could be made from wood, stone, fire, sand, mud, ice, etc. Ally List: Archers powerful hybrids,followers of the Blue Flame path,those young warriors fight brave against any enemy,dying in battle whit no blaming word against who leads them.Fighting for the lands that belong to humans and dragons,it's well known how good is to have one near you. Shikigami After the dark shade invade of the Drakath's army,the Hell Gate in the North opened up,and a strange living form got out.As their leader spoke in the language we could understand,they were there to make Drakath bow.They are not impartial,so they will ally to any dragon that needs help to defeat the evil.(it's shown they are creatures whit soul) Messengers A kind sent from heavens,those are apparently what in greek mythology is Hermes.Whit golden wings on their helmets,gloves and ankles,fear those shinning angels. |
