Just looking at the corpses and the way the body was dismembered, you can tell it couldn't have been done by a human so it was probably something non-related to those monsters that led to his imprisonment. |

| When it was shown his unit builded trenches, I was like "oh that's why he was picked as gravedigger". But with the ending, I think there's lot more to it, and he was chosen on some kind purpose. |
