| Hi, not sure this is the appropriate subforum, but anyway, I downloaded Ghost Hound from Genjo (720p) and the volume is much lower than it should be, The intro song sounds alright (I think?) but everything else sounds like a whisper unless i max out my speaker's volume. I was just wondering if anyone might know what is causing this, I've never had any problems with any other anime sooo. : / If there is any information I need to include, let me know. Thanks : ) |
| Are you using MPC? Because if you are, you might want to check the volume of the player itself.. |

| A lot of people have similar problems because most Ghost Hound releases are 5.1 surround sound. I'd ask Genjo on their website. |

| I had the same problems back then, the voices weren't really 'whispering' but the sound level was noticeably lower. Back then I just turned up the volume a bit, but I just didn't have the right sound drivers installed. I went and downloaded Realtek audio drivers checked the settings so it says 5.1 (I have the same setup as you) and didn't have any problems like this since then. It also fixed some speaker problems I had when I played some games. Left menu > Computer Periphal ICs > PC Audio Codecs > AC'97 / High Definition (I don't remember which one I downloaded) However, this overwrote my previous sound driver stuff I had installed (something nVidia or nForce related). Nothing got damaged or anything, but that's what I noticed. I am no pro at this so you'd more or less be doing this at your own risk but they're just audio codecs. Maybe I'm being too careful but they're supposed to be universal drivers. |
