Oh and why didn't Jinna use the drill on himself or have Nagi use it on him to reverse the cycle on Jinna? |

| His reversal of Nagi's 'rebirth' cycle was only done to turn her back into a human again so that Iris couldn't take her soul (which could have happened had Nagi remained a Soul Irregular). Anyhow, it's also a nice segue into their reunion at the end, since being a Soul Irregular himself somehow justifies having Jinna forcefully conscripted as a Grim Reaper. Basically a plot device, more or less. ...No parfait jokes please. |

| The last chapter, chapter 10 (end) in a chapter 11 thread, assuming the extra is counted as chapter 6. Nagi was Chinatsu's reincarnation all along, eh? In the end, Jinna becomes a special, human grim reaper himself. Since Nagi is Bel's owner, perhaps she also kept her grim reaper status even though she's human like Jinna now. It's pretty neat how their weapons (read: giant utensils) combine to become a legendary scythe. Nice ending. Overall, a pretty sweet read, just like how a chocolate parfait should be. Sorry, can't resist. xD |
