i would have said touch if it wasnt 4 the 2 very average films that followed it

Touch is the best of anime adaptation. A likeable soundtrack, funny openings and not big changes to manga stuff. It have 101 episodes so watchers has more of the joy.

And actually Nozomi Witches isn't Adachi manga adaptation. He created only character designs.
