| I saw Romance listed as one of the genres but from the story, reviews and character descriptions there hasn't been any reference to any kind of romance. Could anyone who has watched this shed some light? Thanks :) |

Thanks :) A bit late, but: There is romance bits there and there, but they are not the focus(just like while xxxHolic manga had quite a lot of Yuuko/Watanuki stuff it was not the very focus of story). It has two tragic romantic pairings(Kamui/Kotori and Seishiro/Subaru) both ending in very tragic ways. |

| The romance in this series is somewhat subtle. It is not really the focus of the series, but it is still very significant as it is what drives the plot and characters. - Kamui loves both Kotori and Fuuma. He chooses to become a Dragon of Earth because he wants to protect Kotori and Fuuma. Unfortunately, it doesn't really work out that way... - There is a sort of dark, twisted romance between Seishirou and Subaru. Their feelings for each other are what ultimately decides their fate. - Sorata and Arashi become a couple. - Yuzuriha and Kusanagi fall in love, despite their age different and being on opposing sides. - Karen has romantic feelings for Seiichiro, and although there seems to be a slight suggestion that the feeling is mutual, he is married with a child. He never betrays his wife, and Karen respects him and cares for him enough to never ask him to. |
| Because it isn't the genre of this story, as simple as that. People put the "tag" for the mere reason some characters love some others. (Because, surprisingly, some people still have't figured out that a story including couples or characters with feelings of that sort isn't automatically a love story or "romance" as written here). |
