As I expected Junk Warrior defeated Red demon's Dragon ^^
Yusei will always stay the best duelist :)

Aki, Rua, Ruka, Jack, Crow and Yusei are going to start their own life from now on and Yugioh 5D's ended.

It wasn't the ending I was expecting - a flash into the future to see what Rua, Ruka, Crow, JACK and Aki get up to after they leave Neo-Domino. I was expecting to see Yusei when it went back to the duel XD It was nice to see them revisiting places from the first few episodes, and hell, Rally and the others showed up o_o

Three epic insert songs over the finales and Road to Tomorrow, plus I'm relieved that Yusei and Aki didn't actually get together in the end, though the scene felt shoehorned in for the fans' sake. Regardless, it was a great finish to the best YGO not judging Zexal, but not expecting to like it more

3 years gone by so quickly, I'm just glad we got to see such a pleasant conclusion :3

Haha yeah; to think that we've been watching this anime for three whole years now. It's been quite an epic story, from the Fortune Cup, to the Dark Signers, to the random fillers after that, to the WRGP, and finally to the Machine Gods.

Now that I think about it, Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's was always about ADULTS playing CHILDREN'S card games; after all, only adults are able to get their license to ride their motorcycles. But it was probably easier to make this anime appeal to older audiences, because most of the characters weren't silly naive children.

I liked how the anime opened with Junk Warrior as the first Synchro monster, and it ended in the same manner. And also that well-earned romance between Yusei and Aki. The final duel wasn't as epic as when Yugi faced Yami, or when Yugi faced Jayden, but I guess it felt like more like a symbolic duel to reflect on the events of the story, rather than just one duel that made all the previous ones seem redundant.

Not especially looking forward to Zexal either, but I'll watch a few eps and see if that same genius in the strategy of playing Yu-Gi-Oh is still there.

I don't think CBD as a rumor. If you could understand Japanese well and read those tiny letter in episode 149...
"t was mentioned as being Yusei's Delta Accel Synchro Monster on the Z-one's profile of Yusei Fudo" ~Deltaneos

When the scene goes to future( yay! Ruka is so kawai!!) I think it would be different version from GX ending where the conclusion is not shown. Likely no winner was even decided by the writers, but people have been free to speculate.

Now we get different ending for each.
Epic ending, battle where..( ugh, can't find word to describe this but probably already know) , and a clear ending( I think clear is the best word to describe this ending).
There is like 2 weeks delay in my recent reading list

Time goes by so fast.
It was a pleasant conclusion.
Now we go to downhill with Zexal (at least at the beginning)
Ruka is becomes really good looking as a mature girl ^^

Btw, dunno if someone noted it, but YGO has followed a pattern with its 4 seasons so far.
We started with YGO and got ancient stuff and gods, then we move to a school type YGO (GX), we go to 5D's which is another thematic, also ancient Crimson Dragon, ancient warriors applied to a future scheme. Now, with Zexal, we go back to a school themed YGO (well at least it seems to be the case)

Yeah, it certainly gone by quick. I remember when I first saw this. I thought it was ridiculous with the whole dueling on motorcycle thing. But when I actually watched it, since its yugioh after all, it turned out awesome =D. Best series so far. I sort of doubt the next one will top this but I guess I have to wait and see. 8/10 oh and thank goodness aki and yusei didnt kiss, especially since its the last episode. Just doesnt seem very yugioh like xD.. if that makes sense.

Nice ending for a good series. Was fun ^^ , though I still say Yusei and Aki hooked up in the end bwahahahahaha
She had her eyes closed at some point...I have the feeling the producers trying to tease the fans at the end by making them ask if they did kiss or not...lmfao
That proves it Jack's wife and lover is the duel...=)) poor fangirls...And Ruka is so cute when she gets older....>.> though it shows them in London [ yes that's London ]...I would have hoped they'd show us when they are older and they meet again...

I got to love my 5ds T^T My friend even though she has watched a few scenes since I started watching it , she even cried at the last epi T^T

I can't say I RLY liked the ending . The duel ofc was predictable . Yusei would never lose and since Jack was King , I was sure then he'd stay back . I guess the scene Yusei x Aki was predictable too though I rly wanted them to actually say something but their eyes mirroring each other was good enough ! What I hated is that instead of showing they are coming back to town , they were all away never knowing when they'll actually come back . I know eternal bonds etc etc but still , they should be coming back after achieving their goals . And what happened to Yusei ? He stayed a prof ? Mehh , poor him all alone T^T
Also , Jack x Carly ... Wasn't he supposed to love her ? He just left her now ? Wtf >_> It took me ages to accept that he said that and when I accepted the fact that he'll never be like Kaiba , he just acts like an ass and goes to be King all alone >_> What a bish . And Mikage saying he has no connection with any of them ... HE HAS @ With Carly ! >_>

Either way , I'll rly miss 5ds T.T It was a routine every week watching a new epi T.T I'll even miss the OVERUSEEEEEEEE of the words "kizuna" and "kibo" :c Aww T.T

PS: Ruka became a hawtie in the future !! Crow even more ! <3

The ending was quite good, better than GX. Even if it didn't had an epic duel, but it was very symbolic for the series theme. If it wasn't YGO, surely Yusei & Aki would kiss each other.

I liked the fact that we saw the characters very later in the future and the paths they chosen. It would be nice though if we were able to see the path that other important supporting characters chose. Ex. Sherry, Carly, Team Ragnarok, etc.

However, the anime was left with many plot holes. And the second season felt so rushed in a way, towards the end. Let me state a few of the plot holes.

1. We were never told what Momentum is exactly. It was firstly said that it was an energy source, then the power of human evolution.

2. We didn't know much about the Crimson Dragon. Just that 10000 years ago, he fought against the Crimson Devil. To be honest, I thought we would get another arc telling us about the past that played such an important role, similar to the original series. There were many hints of the past after all, including the hero that resembled Jack.

3. The mysterious Yliaster man that was never revealed. I am talking about this guy. I can't believe he was just some random Yliaster guy, he appeared 2 times, I think.

4. The whole Sherry thing. She wanted to avenge for her dead parents, but it was not confirmed who exactly from the Yliaster killed her parents. It was just hinted that it was Clark. And also, she said that Yliaster were chasing her so many years for the Z-ONE card. In the present, the 3 Emperors didn't even seem to care about the card or even know her. The Z-ONE card seemed very important but later nobody cared about it.

5. I did not understand back there how Aki lost her powers and then she regained them.

Those are a few of the plot holes that I can bring on my mind right now. Unless there was an answer on some episode and I did not noticed.

Anyway, it was a little annoying that Yusei was so perfect and never lost. He knew everything about a single card. He didn't felt like human. At least Judai lost and even Atemu. And if anyone is watching Vanguard, the main character Aichi has lost many times making him more normal.

I also did not like the fact that in the second season it focused so much on Yusei, Jack & Crow and it left the other characters without screentime.

Overall it was a great series, equal to the first ones. 9/10

And ZEXAL looks horrible, I don't think I will bother with it.

Ruka looked so cute when she was older. >3< I will really miss Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds being a duelist myself. I loved the duels and cards in this series so much. And so far I am not liking Zexel to much but we will have to wait and see. 10/10

I cannot fking rest until team 5ds reunite. The akixyusei is what pissed me off the most. Every generation of Yugioh involved a romantic undertone between the main male and female protagonists, but NEVER developed upon it. By far this was the best Yugioh series in existence due to the maturity, but come on dudes, wtf.

I loved the timeskip part, but everything else was a kick in the sack.
Jack chose dueling over three different women. Sorry Carly/Kari...I loved you most.
Yusei vs. Yugi....why hasn't it happened yet....................
Aki x Yusei...needs to happen
Crimson Dragon is shown to be a loli in human form.........why not? >:3

The creators of Zexal..please go **** yourself. HOW DARE YOU regress that much. The only people who support you guys are the ones who were children back when the 1st Yugioh aired; face it, yugioh is not for kids anymore; similarly to pokemon. More adults/teenagers watch the anime/buy the cards compared to children. Yuma Tsukumo..go jump off a cliff please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

YES, I AM A RAGING FANBOY..............................................................

ACTUALLY, it wasn't. In the episode where they reveal what Z-ONE is (episode 149), he checks the history of Yusei and in Japanese, it's written that he was the architect of Clear Mind and Accel Synchro, and Top Clear Mind and Delta Accel Synchro. Cosmic Blazar was his Delta Accel Syncho card. It also said that he was going to win many more championships with the Signers/ Because Z-ONE interfered with their lives by going back into the past, he changed their futures, so now instead of Cosmic Blazar, his Ace Ace Ace Ace monster (the four Aces are intentional: Stardust, Savior Star, Shooting Star and Shooting Quasar) is Shooting Quasar Dragon. You can check more on this at Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia.

ANYWAYS, this is probably the best anime I've ever watched. xD

omg i love the series sooo awesome :)

future Ruka is hot O_O

Rua is becoming a badass now :P

crow looks old too :)

Jack with his ladies what the hell?!?!?!

Aki Izayoi is probably the hottest women i have ever seen O_O

what the hell happened to rally and her gang? did they just appeared out of nowhere?

im surprised jack didn't used the end of storm O_O

Team 5D's FTW!!!!!!!!!

what the hell Jack not even picking Carly at least? as far as i remember, he said he love her during the dark signers arc, lol don't be kaiba, you can have them all.

Yusei and Aki sooo lovely, im sure Aki is holding back, i do hope they marry each other someday same with Jack and his girls

@StellaNoxFleuret

1. yeah i kinda wish they explored more about the momentum, i guess it's yusei's job now to find that out.

2. well their future was altered by the interference of zone, check BloodyRoseWitch reply for more details. honestly i would love to see the supposed future of yusei and his gang

3. i think his only a puppet or a messenger from Yliaster. he could also be Placido for all we know.

4. i think the card was used when aki and crow was trying to convince her to join during the few last episodes, but your right why would they kill her parents just for this card?

5. well it seems her powers disappear due to it's inactivity.

and no, Yusei actually lost in the very first few episodes, lost to jack before the anime, lost to Kiryu during the dark signers arc. so yeah he had a share of some losses. would have love to explore other characters like Rally, Kiryu, Misty, Carly, Demak. also what happened to Team Ragnarok? Dragan, Brave and Harald? Team Unicorn? Andre, Jean, Breo their at least bommer shared some when he told Jack about a secret Earthbound Immortal "Red Nova" and the legendary signer which i would also like to explore its origins.

the world of 5D's is huge, they can make prequels and backstories as full anime episodes, they can show the supposed future without the interference of zone. the birth of the architect of Clear Mind and Accel Synchro, and Top Clear Mind and Delta Accel Synchro. and Cosmic Blazar. we also could have seen more dark signers appearing and more unknown earthbound immortals such ushio's card. the

another possible is a prequel showing past Signers and Dark sginers from 1,000 years ago fighting at each other, the origins of the " People of the Stars" we could see tons of new monsters and earthbounds and the inevitable battle with earthbound and Crimson Dragon. heck why not about the origins of the Zero Reverse, the destruction of Ener D and Professor's Fudo and Yusei's mother.

or even Bruno how he saw Yusei and Zone's friends, the orgins of yliaster and the mysterious man would be nice.

i also found out from YGO wikipedia

"according to Goodwin the four of them are not only duelists chosen by the Dragon Star himself, but they are also the reincarnations of the ancient Signers themselves"

would love to see Yusei and Aki Izayoi's look alike from the past :)

anyway aside from that i want Yusei vs Atem, 1 on1 cheering alongside are Aki Izayoi and Anzu Mazaki, or Jack Atlas vs Kaiba to see who has the bigger ego :P

this is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! ever made, love the characters, everything about this series is awesome. fuck Zexal, will wait for the next Yu-Gi-Oh! to go back to it's roots.

20/10

Honestly, I so glad I pick this up because GX was such a letdown. Perfect OST, Excellect duel construction, good innovation with the concept of synchro which revolutionize the metagame complemented with amazing visuals and animations.

This is one of the best final episodes i have ever seen in an anime. As many people have said, its not super epic or anything, but it has a nice, easygoing, happily ever after feel to it. I was soooo rooting for YuseiXAki but i'm satisfied with how they ended it. And now with the Crimson Dragon gone, they can all go on living happy lives as normal human beings with no more hero duties. Couldn't have asked for a better ending :)

In recap, 5D's is the best series of Yu-Gi-Oh! It was able to incorporate mature themes that the past two series couldn't even touch. WIth 5D's the franchise has moved from being a kid's anime to one that anyone can enjoy. I hope that Zexal doesn't revert back to GX's silliness. In conclusion, 5D's gets a 10/10 from this satisfied duelist. RIDING DUEL ACCELERATION!!!!!

I have finally finished 5D's! I'm feeling so emotional right now because I truly enjoyed this show, and now it's over... It was definitely an amazing ride. There were so many RIDING duels from this anime that are so innovative which kept me on the edge of my seat: Yusei's victories over Team Unicorn, Team Taiyo's Sleeping Giant Thud, Harald of Team Ragnarok, first duel against Aporia, and the final FLYING duel against Z-ONE!

Another thing that I'm going to miss is the camaraderie among the members of Team 5D's. They're an amazing group of friends who trust and believe in each other. I feel like shedding a tear after seeing them all part ways, because they have their own dreams they want to fulfill.

What an amazing story. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is definitely the best Yu-Gi-Oh! series ever and will forever hold a place in my heart. ^^

P.S. It's understandable that many guys would fall head over heels for Luca when she grew up as a teenager because she sure is irresistibly attractive! <3 Oh yeah! XD

Jack so deserved to win :< Still, what a great finale compared to the frustrating last half of the series (WRGP to the ending, basically). It was fun seeing the characters all grown up, especially Lua and Luka :D The final moment with Yusei and Aki was nice, but they could have done so much better with it. Same goes for Jack and Carly (+ the other girls) -_-

There's so much more I can complain about, but meh....I already got most of my rants out elsewhere. I'll just say I can't agree with most of the posters here saying 5D's is the best YGO (-different opinions-). Stupidly over the top duels and a mature boring main character just don't work for me. It was still a fun ride for the most part~

Oh man, what a ride it has been.
The show had amazing soundtracks since the start, and unlike the previous seasons it had a mature plot.
I didnt get bored once and was actually interested what was going to happen every new episode.

It was good, but the show has way too many problems/plot holes/dropped or unresolved things to me: Why did Divine want Ruka when he knows Ruka is not a Psychic Duelist (his organization is for Psychic Duelists, which he knows Ruka is not and thus she has no use to him)? Why didn't Ruka ever bring up that Crow's Dragon was not the one she saw in her dream from episode 36? Why did Yliaster go to the past and use Rudger to cause Zero Reverse, when on Z-ones readout in the original time-line, Rudger became a Dark Signer anyway and Zero Reverse still happened? Why didn't Z-one warn Aporia or the 3 Emperors about Rua (the kid was a Signer in the original time-line as well)? How did Ancient Fairy Dragon get in the Spirits World if she was dragged into the Nazca line by Earthbound God Uryuu? How did Sherry discover that Yusei and co were Signers? What happened to Yusei being able to fly on his D-wheel with those red wings after episode 151 (they never stated that Aporia's upgrade to his D-wheel was temporary)? Why did they imply Ushio was participating in the WRGP when we never see him participate in it? Why were the Signer Marks removed in the final episode (do I really have to explain why this was bull?)? How did Zone give Yusei another Shooting Star Dragon if he tore Yusei's in the future? How did Life Stream Dragon get turned into Power Tool Dragon? Why was Life Stream Dragon only present in the Earthbound God fight, but not the one with Scar-Red Nova? Why would the Crimson Dragon actually allow an Earthbound God (Scar Red Nova) to be combined with one of it's servants when they are sworn enemies that oppose and fight each other? How did Yusei originally get Shooting Star Dragon in the original future or even learn how to do Clear Mind/Delta Accel Synchro when he only did it before in the present altered time-line because Bruno taught him? Why was Earthbound God Uryuu in the Momentum machine, when it was sealed in the Nazca Line? What happened to Sly wanting Yusei's Stardust Dragon? Why was the Sattalite prejudice dropped in Season 3 (that was a big deal, and not everyone is going to just be accepting in a mere 6 months, yet they act like just about everyone is accepting of Sattalite residents in Neo Domino City)? Why was the Aki hate people had for her just suddendly non-existent by Season 3 (again, things like this do not go away entirely in just 6 months)? The writers forgetting that Rua had his own Synchro before season 2, yet they have Rua asking in 13 how tuning works when Rua was Jack's fan and thus watches him on TV often, so Rua clearly knows how tuning works because he has seen many matches on TV (including Jack's) and he has is own Synchro (he's not stupid like his dub counter-part Leo either). The 3 male Signers hogged almost all of Season 3, while the more interesting characters (Rua, Ruka and Aki) barely had any episodes focused on them. I give this show a 6 (may drop it to a 5) out of 10 for me, there's way too many things that I cannot overlook and bother the heck out of me.
