1.a Sawako is misunderstood. Any problem with that? 1.b Social introverts/outcasts think they're misunderstood. Any problem with that? 2.a Kazehaya is popular and has a crush on Sawako because of Sawako's innocent and pure personality. 2.b Some people want to have a guy/girl have a crush on them. And some people doesn't want it. 3.a Sawako has a good personality but she is too shy and she tries her best to improve and make friends. 3.b ..... This club hasn't valid arguments: You can love or hate this anime but there's no reason to say that it sucks because you hate shy people like Sawako. If you are a sociable person, good for you. But this club looks more like an anti-introvert people club. |

Frankly, even though I joined this little hate-club(or whatever you prefer to call it), I like Kimi ni Todoke and even rated it an 8. The show has good animation, really nice music, and although cliched; it has a pretty decent storyline. The only thing that I don't like about this show is that the 2 main characters are so frustratingly dumb, they piss me off. I mean, come on, there's a limit to how timid a girl can be! Even for introverts! Sawako's personality is exaggerated to the point that it's already UNREALISTIC. Okay, so it's anime, that was to be expected. But people are going around saying otherwise. They're so into how "realistic" and "true to life" this show is. But really, it's not. And don't get me started on Kazehaya. it's like... GEEZ. Man up a little. |
