"The King's Pillar"

The one guy I pick to add to my MyAnimeList harem... and in about 3 minutes flat, he becomes 100x more awesome and 100x more tragic.
I hated and loved those 3 minutes. ;3;
In the beginning, Takuto asks Wako to take him to a watchmaker in order to get his watch fixed (which, oddly enough, bears the picture from the portrait his grandfather painted.) Sugata is offered to come along, but he politely refuses and returns to his home. Unbeknownst to Takuto, today is Sugata's birthday! But it is not something he celebrates. In fact, he hates his birthday because of the fact that he learned of his powers as 'The King' to Cybodies and Star Drivers 5 years ago on his birthday. He learned that his birth marked the inheritance of the King's Cybody; the most powerful Cybody in recorded history on the island. He has the power to apprivoise it, but chooses not to as every 'King' who has, has released an unbelievable amount of power for its first phase, but soon after has fallen into a deep sleep: never to wake up.
As Takuto asks Wako to sing near Sugata's training temple as a present to him, another member of the Glittering Star Crux strikes. This time, she produces what looks to be a near uncontrollable Cybody on Takuto and Wako in real time!
The time for the approvoise of the King's Cybody draws near...
A.k.a the greatest episode thus far.
I came so close to tearing up...
This show has crazy ups and downs, I've gotta say. xD I mean I'll love 2 episodes, hate 2 more, and then love another! Maybe its just the fanservice... :\
But this episode? This episode BLEW EVERY OTHER EPISODE AWAY.
BLEW IN INTO A GAZILLION TINY BITS OF ASH.
*sobs over Sugata* Man, I hate him and I love him right now. D': Episode 6 was by far my favorite episode. I'm really looking forward to the next episode! |
