Old topic but - Originally Seraphim was serialised in the monthly magazine Animage (A4 size). The Prologue appeared in the May 1994 Issue. Chapters 1 to 10 appeared in the June 1994 through March 1995 issues. Followed by a two month hiatus. Chapters 11 to 16 appeared in the June 1995 through November 1995 issues of Animage. Due to disagreement between Kon and Oshii serialisation didn't resume.

Since then the existing chapters of the original run have been bundled in one volume (A5 Size), published by Tokuma Shoten, released at the end of 2010 (Official publication date 1/1/2011). (The special edition is identical in content but came together with a separate "Kon's Memorial" retrospective booklet. Both editions have a two sided color fold out poster - ones side is the original magazine cover image . Pages that were in color in Animage were re-printed in color but the majority of the artwork is in black and white.)

I'm not aware of a translation.

But it has a nice setting, that I can say for sure.
If you guys want some photos, you can ask me on my profile.

Looks like Dark Horse will release an English translation in February 2015.
