| I raged at the mother, and fell into despair with the husband. Also, was totally conviced someone was gonna get murdered. |

| The way she was treated was too awful! Even if you love your son you can't do that to his wife, I don't know how he treated her though, but calling for his mother were his last words. |

| This is my favorite episode so far. I love the transition it has from horror in the first half to making you cry in the second. At least she was free from her mother in law in the end. |
| I guess mother-in-laws abusing their daughters-in-law (and vice versa) is common everywhere in Asia including Japan. Damn, this was a sad story. At least Mrs. Tonegawa was freed from her horrible mother-in-law in the end. She was voiced by Kikuko Inoue who voiced Kasumi in Ranma 1/2. She usually voices cheerful characters. This story showed the versatility of the author Rumiko Takahashi. I wish her serious drama stories were as popular as her comedic stories. |
| Great episode as always, it would have been nice if her reputation was restored before her departure from the neighborhood. |
