Should there be a season 3, I hope mio is still around, assuming the girls get back together, need moar minna x mio time. I'll also settle for a Minna x Mio doujin, failing that. |

I'll also settle for a Minna x Mio doujin, failing that. There should be season 3 with the 501st unit in action again! I think Yoshika could still regain her powers considering that she's still young to lose her gigantic amount of magical powers... Plus Mio could still have a place in the military even though she can't fight on the front lines anymore... Though I wonder if the power of her right eye could still function even though her magical powers are depleted. Though I think majority of the people are hyped up in wanting the 502nd or the 504th Joint Fighter Wing unit to be focused more on the 3rd season rather than the 501st... It won't be bad but I'll truly miss the original cast for the anime. T_T That would mean no Mio x Minna too except maybe for cameos. T^T I want more Mio x Minna moments as well! Definitely that's a very huge bonus! And their moments in the second season is something I didn't even come to expect, since I thought they would focus on other pairings or even the plot. Actually, I really felt empty after seeing Strike Witches end... I end up reading /a/'s Strike Witches stuff and looking for more Mio x Minna doujins and fanarts to compensate for the lost of something I love. Anyways, I'm looking forward for the Strike Witches announcement whatever it might be... |

Yeah I get you, I didn't expect it either but episode nine :3 I suppose it did seem like AIC was hinting at a season focused on the 502nd or the 504th but they already have there own alternate media publishings, so I think season 3 should at least have some focus in the 501st as it was always about them until now. I wonder though, why were the 501st disbanded, they freed romanga and were all hero's so rightly they should still be together, unless it shall be explained in season 3. I wonder when the announcement will be, I assume it will be at the end of the year, strike witches (anime) seems to popular to shelve for a few years again. I am hoping for a full 3rd season anyway. |

KYAAAAA! That scene! It truly cheered me up! Plus more from episodes 11-12 where there were more interactions on them. Wish that Mio made a promise kiss for Minna that she will come back alive, but I think it's not Mio to be like that. ^_^' Maybe Minna should've made the move. LOL! XD Since a magazine was saying that "Strike Witches" itself isn't over, I assumed they would still animate a sequel or an OVA related to the 501st unit. It said "Strike Witches" not "Brave Witches" (502nd unit), "Ardor Witches" (504th unit) or "Silent Witches" (507th unit), unless the info I read was wrong with not being "Strike Witches isn't over". There's also this info from Fumikane's blog that the 501st story will be continued on drama CDs and comics. Though, if Strike Witches is the title, then it's all about the 501st. Sad to know that blog post on Fumikane though. About the disbandment, I heard from /a/ that once a mission is accomplished, every Joint Fighter Wing will be disbanded. Still I don't understand that kind of thing since the higher ups said that if they fail the mission, they will be disbanded. But seeing that everytime they succeed they will still be disbanded, I don't see the point of them scaring the 501st unit about the disbandment except for the Neuroi's full take over of Romagna. ^_^' Yes! I wonder when this announcement will be made as well. Though I'm suspecting that this announcement will be revealed on the NyanType Vol. 12 magazine, which isn't released on sale yet. If I remember correctly, it will contain some explanations regarding the 501st. [or Mio and Yoshika-related about losing their powers(?)]... Who knows. But I'm really looking forward to its release and more information/translations about it from /a/... |
