| For anime it would be End of Evangelion and for manga it would be SaiKano. End of Evangelion is actually probably my favorite thing ever as well. I place it alongside stuff like the computer, medicine, and all those other amazing things in life. |
| series only... that's hard. as for anime, if 3 episodes is allready a series, than it's fuyu no semi, the more mature and gay version of romeo + juliett. just thinking of it i could start to cry. if it has to be more than 3 episodes, than it's ayashi no ceres, i really love the ending. |

As long as it's tragic and a anime or manga it will do. ok in that case it's a tie between fuyu no semi and kaze to ki no uta. the only problem with the anime of kazeki is, that there's so much missing from the whole story and the ending is only foreshadowed. but if you know the whole story from the manga (and because of that how it came to that ending) it's really awesome. |

| Anime : Basilisk [ though it was expected ] Bokurano Fantastic Children [ end wasnt tragic , just some certain stuff I considered to be tragic ] Gilgamesh Grave of the Fireflies Rose of Versailles Manga : Deep love series , I dont think anyone would discuss how its the most tragic of all Eureka Seven [ manga only , since its different from the anime ] |
| Most Tragic Anime: Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin ( ithink this one had many elements og tradegy in it) Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora (Oh yea, i cried a lot to this one) Most Tragic Manga: Rec: Kimi ga Naita Hi (i cried so hard while reading this one) What seem to surprice me is the very small amount of tragic anime / manga out there. In dramas, tradegy was a highly popular genre 100 years ago but that isn't the case anymore as it looks like, even though tragic anime are the best ones! |
