| Oh man too sad. At this point I thought she was going to be his future wife. I thought how beautiful it was she was thinking about their life together so far from the present. The list she gave him and everything. The quiet way the author presented her death...man. It's more than a childhood friend dying int his case, it's future potential life long love dying. And I feel it's lost on him cause he's so young. DAMN. |

| The anime pretty much condensed volume 1 into the first episode, and while still effective I think the pace at which the manga went added more to the impact. |
