I'm confused. In the other Angelique shows there were like 10+ attendants, whereas in this one it seems like she meets lots of diverse bishounen but there's a core group of 4. Is that how this show is going to go or will the group expand later on? I'm kind of sick of these 4 guys already...

It's because there's no "guardians" this time. They're just a team, and Purifiers are supposed to be rare, so it makes sense that there would only be a few. In the game this series is based off of, Bernard and Rene also have major roles, but I don't know if the anime will follow that.
